Review of: Entry

This is a very nice place to take your kids. It is ideal to go swimming afterwards in Laugardalslaug. Don't be fooled by vegan trolls that do not approve of Zoos in general - shame on them for attacking this animal friendly domestic animal Zoo.

Small, but lovely family zoo. A variety of animals, mostly native to Iceland. There are a few attractions for younger children and you can touch many of the animals. (The horses might bite, but the goats are lovely.)

Thank you for your visit, you are right about the attractions for the younger ones but hopefully we can sort that out in the near future. Best wishes

I visited with my 15 year old son. I think to be honest, it's more suited to younger families but we had a fantastic time. We arrived shortly after opening. It felt almost like a private visit! We were there for all the feedings and...More

We spent about an hour here at the zoo and some time at the family park. Most of the family park was closed, but there are a few things that toddlers can play with or explore, like the little houses, trucks, and ?dancing game. Stroller...More

We really liked the little Family Park especially the big playground. There are many things to explore for the little ones. You can find some pets like guinea pigs and farm animals like cows, pigs and horses The exotic animal house was closed. The main...More

We parked for free in the "ice rink" parking across the street. We noticed there was a botanical garden adjacent, but did not have the time (nor the kids have the inclination) to check it out. We knew from reviews to expect a pretty small...More

Compared to similar venues in mainland Europe this might seem modest but we have spent many happy hours with our family here. The zoo has a small collection of wild and domesticated animals found in Iceland. The family park has several rides, themed play areas...More

This animal park is good for the price. It’s roughly just under £6 to get in. They have Icelandic horses, seals, reindeer, an artic fox, as well as farmyard animals. The downfalls are that it seems quite run down and the animals seem to have...More

Went to this "zoo" with my boyfriend last week and we did enjoy petting all the cute animals. Just don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. It's not a huge zoo with all the exotic animals. You can expect to meet cute and...More
