The Breathtaking South Coast!!

This was an incredible tour!! Simon was a fantastic guide and did an incredible job of driving through the thickest fog I had ever seen! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Iceland and treated us to some amazing Icelandic music along the way. The sights and sounds of the South Coast CANNOT be missed! This tour was incredible and you will regret if you miss out on this! The blank sand beach was stunning and the waterfalls were absolutely breathtaking! This is a must do! Very professional and overall a 5 star experience!!

Knowledgeable guide and kept us entertained between stops. Well organized and nice selection of places to see. Good lunch at the tomato farm.

Amazing

Booked this tour because I have mobility problems and find climbing onto big coaches very difficult. No problems on this trip.
We were collected from our hotel, for our tour to the south coast, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the geography, history and folklore of the area as we drove along.
The scenery is incredible, very photogenic and atmospheric, waterfalls, mountains, glaciers and coastline no wonder so many of the local population believe in trolls and elves.
Our guide could not have been more considerate,and friendly and her dog, Luna , made the day even more special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Petra! The scenery was breathtaking, and it was an enormous gift to have her as our guide. Not only is Petra an expert driver, she’s friendly, fun, and full of interesting facts about Iceland. We learned so much, we laughed a lot, and I would not change one thing about this wonderful experience. THIS is the Golden Circle tour you want to take, with Petra at the wheel and microphone.

Amazing Nature. Great tour.

A great but long day out. We booked our trip through Jet2. Bus picked up from hotel and our first stop was the Golden Water fall. You could walk up pretty close and take photos.
The 2nd stop was the famous Solheimajokull glacier. Amazing and disturbing to see how climate change has effected the glacier.
Next we stopped at the black sand beach. Used a a location in an episode of Game of Thrones, where we experienced real Icelandic weather ( as the guide des robes it ).
Lunch in a local village. Busy with tours but the food was excellent.
Last stop was Seljalandsfos waterfall. Nature at it most amazing. You can walk behind the waterfall which is highly recommend.
The Jet2 tour we did has a really informative guide who made the tour very interesting.
A really good day that we’d highly recommend

Best trip, tour company and guide (Carlos)

Carlos our guide from East West Tours was amazing, he put our comfort first and told us so many interesting things about Iceland, the places we visited and went past and it’s history. Would 10 out of 10 recommend! Take a waterproof jacket, waterproof legs and hat & gloves to stay dry at the waterfalls 😁

Must see sights, great guide

Personable guide Carlos made our tour even more interesting by telling us many Icelandic stories and points of history as we drove to see the gorgeous natural wonders. The rock formation at the black sand beach was otherworldly, and all of our stops were impressive. Very happy we took this tour - well done!! I'd take the tour again.

Incredible views and tour guide

Leroy was so entertaining, informative, and kind. I cannot recommend this tour enough! I appreciated his warning about the sneaker waves, it was clear some on the black sand beach didn’t get that kind of care. All hail the only Leroy in Iceland!

Amazing sights

This tour was AMAZING! The tour guide was super friendly and gave us lots of knowledge about Iceland (with lots of laughs too!). I recommend this tour for solo travellers like myself or anyone that is interested in visiting the parts of Iceland that are further away from the city centre. I couldn’t recommend enough! A superb tour.

Leroy, Leroi, el rey… guidance was amazing good vibes and the best intros to tourist places a really good trip and really good person… he is the best the only one Leroy in Iceland and we really enjoyed the time on this tour and all the landscape my eyes could see were top ten in the world… thanks so much 👍🏾🤴

I was only there for 2 days. 1 day in the city, walking around, museums, etc. Recommend dinner at Messin restaurant. Day 2 on Golden Circle geoiceland mini-bus tour.

We did not do a snowmobile tour. However, several of the tours we reserved once we were in Iceland and spoke with hotel staff on their recommendations. They were even able to phone the company directly to book. I would wait until I was in Iceland or contact your hotel for recommendations

I am planning to visit Iceland in Feb 2019. I would like to do the glacier walk, see an ice cave, the northern lights, etc. I have some neuropathy and some balance issues but I am capable of walking (and live in a house with stairs) and my biggest problem is standing for very extended times. Will I be capable of participating in these activities? Thank you.

Hi Dear Deborah, this is little tough questions without more info. But the Northern Lights Tours will be no problem, The Glacier hike can be challenging for sure, and the Ice Cave would be very challenging. But something like the Ice Tunnel in Langjokull is much more accessible and I would recommend. I hope this helps. Best regards Hordur.

Hi there, unfortunately we have very limited daylight at this time of year so a Golden Circle tour at that time would not be possible. We have departures on our regular Golden Circle tour at 09:00 am and then an express Golden Circle tour at 11:00 am. Perhaps you would like to do Northern Lights hunt on the evening of arrival:) I hope this helps. Kind regards

Hi I’m hoping to book the golden circle tour for December. I’m just wondering how long do you stay at each location for? And if getting picked up from your hotel do you have to go to the bus terminal to transfer or straight on with the tour? Thanks in advance :)

Hi Amyleigh The answer from Angela J is very good. We do not pickup and then go to a terminal, you will be picked up by your guide for the day. The stops are variable, from 30 min to over an hour, depending on location (and lunch time). Best Regards Baldvin

Hi there What tour are you interested in? Both Golden Circle and South Coast start at 9am, pickup starts at 8.30am. Regarding weather, we recommend you have a waterproof light jacket, but maybe a sweater or some base layers as well. It can get chilly when it is raining and windy. Best Regards Baldvin
