Great outdoor heated swimming pool and hot pots of varying temperatures with powerful massage jets. Not crowded and very inexpensive. More enjoyable than the over crowded Blue Lagoon and no hype or reservations needed !

We thought about going back to the Blue Lagoon a second time on our way to the airport, but they were booked solid. And I'm glad - because getting to experience this local pool was a real treat. They offer towels for rent and have more than I expected (hair dryers, ample locker space, etc.). Between the high ratings here,... More

This was a very enjoyable time spent soaking in the various temperature hot tubs and the very warm swimming pools. There is a water slide and a wading pool. There is a cold plunge and a steam room. This is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy natural springs, hot mineral water.

The swimmingpool in the town Seltjarnarnes is a hidden secret. It is nice to go swimming there and go to the hot tub and to the steam bath. There is a waterslide for children and there are 3 hot tubs and a pool for children. For the most brave ones, I recommend also the ice tub, with ice cold water.

I went to a pool to hang out for an hour every morning while in Reykjavík, it's the thing every one does. I liked all the hot pots of different degrees, 36-38C, 38-40C, etc, and CLEAN. Lots of families and people of all ages. You'll NOT feel unwelcome! Definitely do what the locals do.

On our way to the hotel from the airport we discussed visiting Blue Lagoon on our spare time. The bus driver suggested Seltjanarnes..he actually considered that this is even better. Having visited to Blue Lagoon before, I wanted to check the local alternative. One can reach the pool from Reykjavik center within 5-10 minutes with a car and the cost... More

An Icelandic friend took me here and it was a great visit. The lockers and showers are very clean and well-kept. There is a large pool for swimming and smaller ones on the sides, with varying temperatures. Very enjoyable. You don't need to bring a padlock; the lockers have keys in them. I have visited other Reykjavik pools (-"laug"s) and... More
