We booked on the trip on Friday 19/04 and we had strong winds, choppy sea and no sightings. The company graciously granted us a lifetime return trip. We booked on the Sunday 21/04. Calm sea and low winds. We saw 3 feeding humpback whales and...More

Sadly we were not lucky enough to see any lights, but I am sure if we had done so then I would have more to say. Otherwise, the boat was rather crowded which I wasn’t expecting given the cost of the tickets, although they do...More

Trip was on the 9th of April. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the harbour. Boiler suits were hilarious to get into but lovely and warm for the night on deck soaking up the atmosphere. Time star gazing and over an...More

Amazing trip! Done a lot of whale watching boat trips, but never this good. We were very luck to see 4-5 different humpback whales on our tour. The guide Etienne was super enthusiastic, and well informed. Highly recommended.

I picked Special Tours based on their reviews and by the fact they have some of the biggest boats - I figured the bigger the better if the sea was choppy. On the day of the tour they emailed to say to expect rough seas....More
