The building is really an amazing design. It stands out a mile in the city. A photographer dream to shoot. The price to go up to the cueing point in the lift takes a star away. It's definitely over priced. The view is great. But...More

This is the landmark you really can't miss in this city. It's unique, located in downtown and its tower provides a view over Reykjavík.

The church is huge and absolutely stunning. The organ inside is massive and the Icelandic are extremely passionate about it. On our first night stay we were lucky enough to attend the churches 25th anniversary organ performance, very talented performers but sadly all spoke in...More

We stopped into the Hallgrimskirkja church on our first day in Reykjavik. It was gorgeous! Perfect spot to reflect and enjoy the quiet. The pipe organ in and of itself was impressive. We didn't go to the top of the church, just visited in the...More

This church, tallest church in Iceland, has an unusual design and is easy to find. There is a statue of Leif Errikson in front. Inside is a little bland, but it is still interesting to see anyway. The pipe organ here is huge!

Great building and was one of the highlights of Reykjavik. We went up the tower. Well worth the wait for the fantastic views over the city.

Lovely to go in the church which is free but you pay to go up the tower . You can se how vast Reykjavik is from the top . Worth a visit.

As per previous reviews, very limited parking. Better to park elsewhere and walk up.

No one took our tickets either. It was the honor system. If it was me, I would just ask them when I bought the ticket and go with what they said. I bet they would say it was fine.
