An interesting and informative film about Villi's life work filming volcanoes. The setting isn't a glamorous movie theatre, but that adds to the charm. Villi's cat Mocha watched the film from my lap, friendliest cat I have met!

Opportunity to live a unique experience in Reykjavik: see 1 or 2 hours documentaries about volcanoes in Iceland (from the 40s on) and meet the man who made the docs. There is also a lovely and cute cat to make the experience even greater! Recommended!

It was so fun to meet Villi and hear his stories. The cinema is comfortable with a large screen and good sound. Villi's two cats Mocha and Voltaire (who "likes to talk philosophy at 4am") were both there too! It was a great time, the...More

My husband and I are fascinated by geology so we stayed for both films. Villi himself introduced them- he first shot a film of a volcano when he was 13 and his father needed another camera operator! The first film was a general history of...More

This is a must in a tucked away red building in central reykjavik. You can watch a hour of extraordinary footage of Iceland's geological carnage. With understated commentary from the original cameraman Villi Knudsen. He looms around in the gloom of the cinema, plays down...More

We visited this place because of the trip advisor reviews. We found it a bit deteriorated. It is a little theater at the back of a house. When we got there, no one answered, after a while a couple came out and offered us icelandic...More
