We had 2 different tours over consecutive days with Yngvi who was superb from start to finish. His knowledge was encyclopedic and great fun to be in his company. We felt safe in some hostile environments and he made sure we were happy and comfortable at all times. Iceland is amazing and he enhanced every second of it. Absolutely brilliant.

First they pull up in the most bad @ss modified Defender I have ever seen, trying to figure out how to get one. Then our guide Ants was amazing. He told us what the general plan was, then asked for our feedback to see if wanted to add or skip anything. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, not to mention he was amazing with my 8yr son. The scenery and his knowledge of how to get around was great. The weather on the glacier was too dangerous, so he took us on an offroad ride instead. Cannot recommend enough.

SUPER SUPER SUPERJEEP certainly lives up to its name. We were met at the cruise terminal by one of their excellent drivers and whisked away before anything got crowded. He made sure that we saw all the Golden Circle plus more even to the extent of us being able to stand on a huge glacier. He was very personable and a really nice guy. The next morning I couldn’t find my jacket and suspected I had left it in the Jeep. My husband phoned them, not only had they found my jacket but had sorted out how to get it back to me. They put the jacket on a flight from Reykjavik to Isafjordur and got their representative there to deliver it to the ship. Now, that’s what you call service!

We had two trips with Superjeep - the first around the Golden Circle and the second along the south coast. The scenery is unforgettable - quite unlike anywhere else in the world. The landscape is unexpectedly green on the south coast and wonderfully varied, from waterfalls to hot springs, glaciers and mountains. The experience is still vivid in my mind and will stay with me for a very long time. Both our guides - Simms on the first and Ants on the second - were knowledgeable and very good communicators. You have to know what you're doing in this kind of landscape and we felt completely safe in the hands of experts. On our second trip there'd been a cancellation and we had the jeep to ourselves. Both guys were able to answer any questions and went out of their way to make our trip memorable. We were given choices over where we wanted to go and the trips had an element of spontaneity that you won't get on a crowded coach tour. OK, you pay more, but how often are you going to be in this unique environment? We felt that the company really went the extra mile for us. We met Ragnar - the owner of the company - and I was pleased to be able to congratulate him on the professional and altogether excellent service that he and his guides provide. You won't do any better. Really the best.

Two wonderful day trips with SuperJeep - one with Simms and the other with Ants - showed us so many fascinating aspects and elements of the Iceland experience. We valued both of the very informative, knowledgable and charming guides, who taught us so much about the country as we travelled through it. We also appreciated their flexibility, matching the day's tour to the travellers' interests. The vehicles are very comfortable and highly suitable for travelling across glaciers, onto black sand beaches and up close to waterfalls and geysers. We booked in advance of travelling and were very glad we'd done so.
