We recently took a 10 day trip to Iceland. We really wanted to see the Northern Lights so we booked a tour with Superjeep.is. The weather during our stay there was rainy and very cloudy and we were not hopeful that we'd be able to see the lights. However, Simms from Superjeep helped us pick the day and time with the best chances. He picked us up (a family of 5) right on time, in an amazingly spacious, warm and comfy Defender. He knew exactly where to go and when the cloud cover would subside long enough for us to see the lights. He took photos for us, took one of our family in front of the lights and even served us delicious hot chocolate (with vodka for the adults). He was very knowledgable about the phenomenon and explained quite well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland and wanting to see the Northern Lights.

Our 2nd visit to Reykjavik so we wanted to see a part of the island we hadn’t previously explored. Our first trip we did the Golden Circle Tour, blue lagoon & northern lights by boat. We opted for the small group tour, just us & 1 other couple. The other couple cancelled which meant we had a private tour, fab! Our driver Ollë gave us the option of where to go & what to see & off we set at 5am on the long drive south. He was very knowledgeable & very personable & we both really enjoyed his company. First stop the magnificent Skógafosd Waterfall - what a breathtaking view after the 423 steps to the top (& yes, I did count!) Next was a quick off road excursion onto Reynisfjara ‘Black Sand Beach’...waves crashing in loomed pretty rough...next landfall due South...Antarctica I shan’t mention the dead seal we found! Stop no.3 via some real off roading (sports bra would have been helpful here ladies 😂)across the fast flowing river beds to the bottom of Eyjafjallajökull glacier...yes the one with a volcano underneath 😱 OK I admit we like our travel and the irony of arriving in a bloody great big 4x4 wasn’t lost on us when our driver said that <10 years ago the glacier was at ground level and he sees it retreat further every year! Stop no.4 another waterfall...Seljalandsfoss and this time my hubby could walk behind it...his clothes were still wet (despite the heater on full & heated seats) arriving back in Reykjavik 2 hrs later! Now you know why I opted out at the steps as I was already soaked. All in all a fabulous day that we would never have been able to experience on a coach tour or on our own! If you can request your own driver, I highly recommend Ollë & should we return for a 3rd visit, that’s exactly what we’ll do.

The super jeep company was an amazing way to see the northern lights. The jeeps are warm and comfy and the drivers are incredible at their job. The first night was cancelled due to the weather. The second night we went out but sadly didn't see any lights. It was easy to rearrange for the third night and this time we saw the lights for a good couple of hours. The guides and drivers are funny and informative and they will chase the lights as far as they can to get you a sight of them. The hot chocolate and vodka was pretty good too. Loved the tour and would recommed this company to anyone.

Husband and I took an all day, private tour. Our guide, Jon, was very knowledgeable and eager to share. I appreciate how he worked tirelessly with me on pronunciation of words. He definitely earned a generous tip! I would hire SuperJeep for another adventure tour again!

My wife and contacted them to book a luxury private tour of Iceland for April/May 2020. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to COVID19. However, this review is based on the service we got prior to the cancellation. Gosi took great care of us. From the first time we contacted them, Gosi was available and quick to respond and assist with any question we had (and we had a lot). Our goal was to design a unique experience tailored completely to our preferences, and Gosi did exactly that... Including Places to go, hotels to stay at, tours to complete, schedules to keep, restaurant recommendations, etc. It was most unfortunate that we had to cancel our trip due to COVID19. However, they also made the cancellation process a good experience. In short: No issues, no hassle, and quick response. Again, great service. I will certainly be using them when I re-book this trip for April/May 2021, and recommend to anyone going to Iceland.
