Also booked trips for a cruise this year. Cancelled March, still waiting for refund despite 3 reminders. Won’t use them when we finally go.

Do NOT use this company. We were visiting Iceland as part of a 16 day Transatlantic cruise. We were supposed to arrive on June 11, 2020. We were a group of 12 people, but probably about 100 people booked the Golden Circle Tour. We all prepaid about one year before the actual date. Unfortunately, Covid 19 happened and our cruise was cancelled. We sent emails to IG Tours on April 1st to advise of the cancellation. We received responses that our refund would take about 8-12 weeks. It is now almost 5 months since we cancelled and they have not refunded our money. They also sent letters from their attorney's apologizing for the delay and that we could get a credit for a future time. If not the refunds would be forthcoming. We paid for something that we did not get. DON'T trust them.

We had a really excellent day out on the Golden Circle tour and would highly recommend this company. We were picked up by minibus and the whole day had a really personal touch. We had what was an individual guide, rather than being sat anonymously on a big coach. Our guide Ian had a massive amount of knowledge about Icelandic history and culture, as well as all the destinations on the tour. We were able to visit some beautiful extra locations such as waterfalls and farms which would have been inaccesible in a larger vehicle. This tour was brilliant and was the highlight of our stay in Iceland and has given us really fantastic memories.

We had a wonderful tour booked thru Icelandair. We traveled to the national park with the geysers and the wonderful ice waterfalls along. We finished the day at a local horse ranch and were able to pet and feed the local horses, unlike horses from the state they are shorter and have very long hair. Our guide and driver were wonderful we experienced a storm during our trip which we were told is normal from the far side of the island. It was a 9 hour tour and we also made other sightseeing stops along the way which were great. I do tell you to book early. I would highly recommend this trip. Be aware you must do a lot of walking on this tour but plenty of rest in between stops.
