I booked Golden Circle and South Coast tours in advance - it was cheaper when you book both. I was happy that IGT picked me up from my accommodation which wasn't in the town centre and later brought me back too. Both tour guides Berglin...More

Wife and I did the South Coast & Golden Circle Tours and both were fantastic. We debated renting a vehicle and doing it ourselves, but it was worth having someone else doing the driving and talking about the history of the area. Both guides talked...More

Hi All, i'm considering surprising my husband with a 3 day trip to Iceland for New Years to see the Northern Lights. i've been researching a couple of different tour operators that offer packages at various prices. The most expensive so far was about €2,500 for two of us, not including the flights from Ireland to Iceland. The cheapest i've found so far is about €1,200 for both of us, again not including the flights. They both offer pretty much the same thing so obviously i'd be going for the cheaper one. My question is - can anyone recommend a good place to book this trip through, somewhere with a good reputation and at a decent price? Also, has anyone else been here at this time of year and what was it like? My husband has always wanted to see the northern lights, well me too but it's one on the top of his list. Thanks a lot

Yes, there are. The costs vary (however expensive overall), but well worth it!
