The experience is pretty much a long car ride...the geysers are cool though (only highlight). Everything else was underwhelming. Please be sure to "Click On What's Include" in this trip it is there you find out that the Blue Lagoon really isn't not included - Sooo Misleading everywhere else in the trip description.

Hello DJS B.We are very sorry to hear your negative experience with us.We clearly state in the description and confirmation e-mail what is included and that the Blue lagoon tickets have to be booked separately by the customer. We encourage you to read all of our positive reviews and see this has never been a issue/surprise for any of our passengers. We are very disappointed to hear that you feel like you were misled as that is not our intention. We are however, are not sure how we can do better, especially if the description isn't read properly. In regards to our pricing...Our tours are not only competitively priced but also private and personal for up to 7 participants.I doubt that you will find a cheaper tour even with a large bus and huge groups, sharing one guide.Again, this as well as the duration of the tour (approx.9 hrs.) is also clearly stated in our description on our website and Viator's booking channel. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Iceland and your expectation were otherwise met . Please feel free to reach out to us if there are any questions. Best reg. Magnus K.

We were picked up on time, and asked for a stop for coffee and Magnus accommodated us and warned us that the weather forecast was poor later on. We headed out and he told us about Icelandic history and was very entertaining. We say geysers and a very cold waterfall - that was very impressive; the cold. It was sore cold, it hurt.

That afternoon after visiting point where the continents collide, on the way to the Blue Lagoon we were stopped by a rescue car. We turned back to Reykjavik.

So we decided and instead ended the trip at Sky Lagoon (we were just very committed to visiting a Lagoon). It was a good move because we heard others went to the Blue Lagoon and they were rescued by the Red Cross in a snow storm after being stuck for4 hours. Meanwhile we bathed outdoors in hot water beside a bar looking out at the twinkling lights of Reykjavik around us.

A great day - made memorable by Magnus!

My husband and I had originally booked the Vestmann Island tour, but as you might expect when visiting Iceland in the winter, the weather had other ideas. When the ferry got cancelled the owner offered their great circle tour instead - and yet the weather wouldn't even let us do that, blowing vehicles off the road.

The owner instead picked us up at our hotel and gave us a six hour private tour of Reykjavik and the surrounding areas. Having driven taxi for 30 years in the capital area, Magnus not only knew where everything was, he knew stories about everything we passed. We saw much of the capital area and all the main sights, and even took a trip out to Bessastaðir, the official residence of the Icelandic President. He also paid our way into two museums.

While I was sad the weather conspired to keep us from Westmann, I couldn't have asked for a better tour of the capital area, or a better tour guide.

We saw everything on the list, calm and friendly staff making this a very well organised and happy experience. Ending at the blue lagoon perfect to see the sun set its a fantastic event. Try to book your blue lagoon ticket as soon as possible if not you can get it with the organisers but you need to ask at time of booking or call as we did.

We were picked up at the hotel and taken to spectaular sights, plenty of rest room stops and lunch was amazing variety including vegan. Prebook your blue lagoon to arrive sooner, or get the company to send a voucher. It is unmissable and exceptional! Returned to hotel feeling terrific.

This was such a wonderful day out. I thought initially the day would be too long but we all had such a lot of fun. It was a small group of 10 people in a small size bus/coach. Very comfortable. Aside from the awesome views and the history, the highlight was our guide Hauser. He was brilliant as his love & pride for Iceland and its history and all the attractions was clear. He kept us entertained with stories and historical back grounds and anecdotes that made us laugh. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoyed the tour. Outstanding day! Thank you Hauser.

Amazing day out. We were lucky to be the only people booked on this particular day so we had the tour to ourselves!
Saw everything we wanted to see and ended up in the lagoon just as it was getting dark. Highly recommended the lagoon at night, it makes it so much more magical!
Also, on the drive home our guide noticed the northern lights so took a little detour and let us stop and get out to see them.
Absolutely lovely experience all round.

Magnus is a very kind person - he even stepped out of the car to offer to take a picture of us.

We were picked up on time and told a lot of interesting stories about Iceland - how it works and its folklore, including the jokes! A very informative guide who's happy to answer questions.

I hope one day we will see a new green vegan tour with emphasis on the conservation of nature and animals, and perhaps vegan lunch suggestions.

Thank you, Magnus, it was very nice to meet you and we loved your tour.
