There simply aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to Team Eskimos! Our contact, Hildur, was quick to reply, detail-oriented and friendly. Hildur expertly prepared a three-generation “guys” Icelandic adventure for my father (age 70), husband (age 46) and son (age 9). Their itinerary was...More

confused about tours (1 Replies)
Hi, I have compared the three day ice cave tour on December 23rd with goecco and Eskimos Iceland and can find no difference between the two except for price with goecco being more expensive. You see the same things on both tours which inludes golden circle tour, black sand beach, Jokulsarlon and Seljalandsfoss. Has anyone done either of the tours and what was your experience? Could the difference be between both tours that you spend longer at certain destinations that with the other...More

Check on the accommodations provided. And I'd say, book the tour before they realize that it should be a lot more expensive, since you'll be going during the high-season Xmas days.

The Golden Circle tour in Iceland (12 Replies)
What tour operator would you recommend for a mid to low priced tour of the three major attractions on the Golden Circle tour, hopefully with stops at noteworthy places along the way? Are there different size "coaches" for the different tour operators? For instance, Iceland Horizon offers tours for about $65 per person with a maximum of 16 people. We cannot afford the private tour operators and are booking through Eskimos Iceland for everything else.

We went with gti and it was a great tour. It was a comfortable minibus rather than large coach and our guide was excellent.
