Booked through Iceland Aurora Photo Tours. Was not transparent that they acted as a booking agent for second party photo tour guides so we did not tour with Tony Prower, only did the initial scheduling and payment. We were left with the impression guides were on his staff which they are not, they have their own businesses.. Also while there... More

We just came back from a 3-day tour I and my wife spent three days with Tony. We really enjoyed our time, even though the weather was not cooperating. Tony is a great photographer and we learned a lot from him. He took us to beautiful places that were the best spots for taking pictures and gave a lot of... More

What are your favorite subjects to photograph? Landscape, wild life, people, macro, animals, celestial features, decay? You can find them all in Iceland. After seeing photos of the waterfalls in Iceland and the Iceland exhibit at the Smithsonian Natural History, we decided to stop in Iceland on our way to Hungary. There are several advantages to this route- a shorter... More

When we decided to make our yearly vacation Iceland, we knew, without a doubt, that we wanted to hire Olgeir to help us take the most amazing pictures. We originally hired him for 1 day but that shortly changed and we knew we had to have him for 2 more days. We spent 3 spectacular days with the most amazing... More

I just completed an amazing Iceland Photo Workshop with Tony Prower in October 2016. From Reykjavik, we traveled along the South Coast of Iceland as far east as Vestrahorn and visited several glacier tongues of Vatnajökul along the way. It was my first visit to Iceland and I can honestly say that I would visit again. The landscape is just... More

Our group of four arranged a semi-custom tour with Tony Prower, the owner of Iceland Aurora Photo Tours. We traveled through west Iceland, primarily through the Snæfellsnes peninsula. In spite of some poor weather, we saw quite a bit and had a good time. Tony is very knowledgeable about the area and knew just where to take us. He shared... More

I was fortunate to travel with Tony Prower on a 4 day photo tour from July 19 -July22nd. Although this time of the year is the most popular tourist season, Tony took me to beautiful locations where there were few if any other people around. We saw and photographed locations that I am still trying to figure out where they... More

Our 4 adult family members went to Iceland this past July. One of the highlights was going on a private photo tour with Jorunn Sjofn. First of all, we started out at 5pm, by choice. The sun is up until 11pm. Jorunn thought the lighting would be better and it was much better than overhead sun for photos. She brought... More

Myself and my son did the south coast day tour with Olgeir. He took us to some amazing places .He is very good and knows exactly the best places to go. The scenery is stunning on the south coast. Some of the places were quite busy but Oligeir took us to one waterfall away from the crowds where we got... More

We spent a winter day withTony Prower and what a great day it was. He took us to some outstanding places and then shared insights that allowed us to see and capture the very best of each place. We visited dramatic water falls, a massive glacier, and a striking black sand beach. Tony is an extremely talented photo artist and... More
