Eight of us snorkeled on the Silfra fissure in February. Fee, our snorkel guide was knowledgeable, fun and kept everything very safe. Highly recommended and next time we're definitely going to look at the scuba diving as well!

A great opportunity to snorkel between the techtonic plates of America and Asia. You are guided through the process of suiting up and every detail is checked and double checked. Our guide Fraser was brilliant and very attentive. I was concerned about the cold but...More

Today I went snorkelling with dive.is at silfra, the two continental plates with the worlds cleariest water! Probably one of the greatest things I've done in my life. My instructor Richard P was very helpful as it was my first time snorkelling. He made me...More

Hi, we would be there in mid to late October 2017 and I would love to do this. I am getting my PADI certification - BUT, I have never dived in a Dry suit. On the website, one of the prerequisites is to have dived in a dry suit before which I have not! Is it mandatory? Can I dive here if I don't have prior Dry suit experience? Thanks in advance!

Hi I have never dived with dry suit before, and I have a SSI certificate rather than PADI. Would I still be able to attend the tour? Thank you, Tina

Yes - In respect of skills, dive requirements and training standards, SSI and PADI are pretty similar. The skills required to dive in a drysuit are the same whatever organisation you are qualified from.

Hi can I book the dive for my husband and come as a spectator? he would love it. or would that not work and I would be better just sending him for the day? I cannot do it as my circulation is too bad in my hands and feet. We would be there in February 2017. Thank you so much. Catherine :)
