If possible, walk down the trail to the very face of the waterfall and enjoy the mist. It's unreal to see the deep gorge and hear the roar of the water off the glacier. Take food with you. If you get to the geyser park,...More

The Waterfall at Gullfoss was spectacular. Great for pictures. Reminded me a little of Niagara Falls only more water gushing over it then disappearing into the caves.

We were very well looked after by informative and entertaining guide Höskuldur, expert coach driver Heidi and monster truck ace Einar. Snowmobiles...More

The WaterFall was flowing but it was very cold. Most of the still water part was frozen and it was windy too

We found amazing people and stunning geography on our recent visit to Iceland – the land of fire and ice. Being there in winter provided vistas of white interspersed with lava-heated steam vents, boiling streams, frozen waterfalls, and vistas of snow-covered mountains that seem to...More

This is must of a stop. To marvel at the bubbling pools and streams. Culminating in the eruption of the geyser. Made all the more spectacular by the snow on the ground. It can get very busy along the walkways, but well worth hustle. A...More
