Not the best Irish bar in Reykjavik
Tourist version of an Irish pub. The Drunk Rabbit has more of the genuine “pub feel”, with live music, sports on tv, more suitable music during the day… the average Irishman would not approve of this bar. However, the beer is cold, the prices are decent for Icelandic standard. Definitely not a bad bar either. So good bar, not Irish

A very enjoyable time in Reykjavik
We arrived on a Friday and dropped our bags in our Airbnb. Walked around town and found this establishment. Such a fun bar - bartenders were friendly and prompt, interior was very Gaelic, and once live entertainment started the bar was rocking. Drinks poured strong and like cheers - everyone ended up knowing our names. Went back again after our trip to the south coast / and shared Irish coffees on the only day we got rain.

    Beautiful place but
There can’t be a nicer looking bar in the City. Classic Irish dark wood and lovely looking inside. Pint was £8.90. That’s Reykjavik for you…loos a bit pokey. Music ok, staff fine. Not to thronging in there.

We visited the pub , amongst many others across Europe & UK during almost a year of travel. Looooooved it. Staff were amazing and inclusive.... you can get drinks anywhere in the world but served by beautiful people is not always the case.

Pleasant little surprise while strolling through the streets of Reykjavik we stumbled across this pub we wouldn't have even know it's there as we've gone when it was freezing well it clearly gets colder lol however march was chilly so not many people were outside the pub and also the COVID-19 was on the horizon so spotting it as a pub would have been difficult as it's in a little side street.
It's a very cosy clean pub and we thought it was good service and as usual it was OK as in prices but that's Iceland as a whole is quite expensive.
It's more of a I would say a American style Irish pub more than a Irish pub if that makes sense but either way great place to grab a bite to eat and down a pint.

Definitely a fun spot on a Saturday night! My husband and I went and enjoyed the live music. It was packed so be on the look out for tables. Also note there is NO food, drinks only. We grabbed dinner before hand and then enjoyed our time at the pub drinking some Guinness and enjoying the live entertainment.

Massive shout out for this pub !!!
Great pint of Guinness and a lovely dark haired lady behind the bar who saved my bacon.
I left my backpack with boarding cards and passports in the pub on our first day in Iceland . Panic set in when after a couple of hours I realised where I left it - went back to the pub and the lady presented me with the contents all there .
Thank you sooo much 👍
Obviously the 8 of us had to have another drink 🍺

We loved this bar, we had a warm welcome every time we visited over our week long stay.
The woman’s restroom smelt divine and apparently so did the men’s.
The fragrance was supplied by a local perfumery shop, if anyone should find out the smell please let me know.
Great beer , and the wine not bad too .

Meh, just meh.

Sure it's a busy party street so the crowd is young and loud but it takes too long to get a drink from disinterested bar staff who prefer to stand around chatting amongst themselves.
