Great venue for a comedy show. Run by 3 comedians - Bjarni - The Magic Viking, Dan aka Jesus and the Man who likes nice things. Free show with donations at the end. Happy hour runs from 7pm until the start of the show, approx 9pm. Excellent, fun and highly entertaining and all in English! Great for a cheap (by Icelandic standards) night out. Warm and cosy too. Will definitely visit again once we're allowed to come back to Iceland!

My husband and I stopped in here on a Tuesday night and was able to catch a comedy show. They have happy hour up until the start of the show so we were able to each get a couple drinks before the show started. It only cost less than $13 for a wine and a beer (this includes tax and gratuity). It was a great place to catch a show. All the comics were hysterical!

I had taken a Golden Circle Tour and on the Bus ride back to the Hotels the Tour Guide had suggested we check out the Secret Cellar and that he will be there later in the day (later I found out he also was one of the comedians on that night). I ended up taking his suggestion and I am glad I did. The patrons were friendly in which I ended up making a group of friends, the comedians were absolutely funny and come from all walks of life and I had met one of the guys that runs the show at the Secret Cellar-Dan who also did and outstanding comedic act! Dan is a really cool dude and was pretty easy going which reflected in the way the venue ran. He It was pretty awesome to talk to as I had ended up stumbling in an hour before the show started. I had a couple “White Ale” style beer on tap which were really good... I got to figure out what it is exactly is to try to locate it in the States...with that aside I ended up coming back in the next night again (I think it was a Saturday) with a full house and pretty much everyone had a blast. Also after the comedy show is over it swaps over to karaoke which to my surprise a lot of the people there got a pretty Rockin voice which was really entertaining to watch as well I will definitely be attending again when I come back this summer!

Came here two nights in a row during our visit - and were not left dissapointed! There are shows every night of the week and when we visited we saw 'My voices have tourettes' and 'Open mic' - if you're visiting on a Tuesday (My voices have tourettes) it is a brilliant show and something different! The comedians are all brilliant and the quirky atmosphere of this little comedy club makes for a great night out. Happy hour runs up until the start of the show so there's plenty of time to sit and relax before it all begins. If I come back to Iceland - I will be visiting here again for sure!

Busy day sightseeing and want some evening entertainment? - head to the secret (or not so secret) cellar. Comedians are all English speaking and relate to their material incredibly well. Some days are free entry (where the comedians practise their material) - This was a Monday night and was actually very funny. Other nights are ticket only. Bear in mind there is not a lot of space in this place, so if you are planning to go on the weekend pre-book a ticket ! Bar does happy hour before the show, so get those beers in !
