This tour was a highlight! It was unique from the other basic walking tour I took, and full of funny and interesting stories from the last 1300 years. Lalli was warm and friendly and a world-class storyteller. I was never bored or felt like the information was redundant. I enjoyed the meal at the end as well.

These guys are funny! This was our second time using them. They are knowledgeable and fun to be around. My one issue would be for them to learn to divert political questions. Vacation and politics don’t mix. We had folks on our tour that weren’t with us and it got awkward. I don’t talk about Jesus and you don’t talk about politics.

Our group had a fantastic experience with Lalli. He is extremely knowledgable and he was happy to answer our many questions. We enjoyed traditional Icelandinc food at several restaurants and then capped off the evening with a sampling of Icelandic beers. He is also just a lot of fun to be around! I would highly recommend this experience.

Lalli was an awesome guide. Having lived in Iceland his whole life he is intimately knowledgeable of all the facts, myths and legends. More compelling is his enthusiasm... he clearly loves his country, its history, natural resources, culture and quirks. The tour was equally educational and entertaining. Some of the food was genuinely funky but as foodies we enjoyed the culinary adventure. Most of the food was very tasty and enjoyable ...and even a couple pleasant surprises. There were just a couple challenges... enough to make it interesting. We were swept along in the experience and came away with a broader understanding of the country, the cultural center and where best to spend our time. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Highly recommend this tour! Not to sound like a nerd but learning such rich history from a passionate and funny tour guide, Lalli, is one of my favorite things about traveling. He was so knowledgeable and also kind. Could not have asked for a better experience. This is a tour I would recommend to any of my own friends and family visiting Iceland.
