We had a 2 days tour to Askja with Stefano and he was simply amazing. The hiking at Dreki to Víti, the fabolous lakes into the craters, the dinner at the shelter at Dreki prepared by him and the driving to Vatnajökull the next day have been unforgettable.... we really recommend this if you visit Iceland. Stefano made all the difference to our trip to Iceland. He brought us to such special "secret" places which we would have missed had we opted for a self drive trip or with the usual big travel companies. His knowledge was superb. He looked after us very well indeed. Activities and hotels personally selected and was just perfect!

Just got back from Iceland and even having traveled across the world, I have never experienced anything quite like this place and I can only attribute my breathtaking experience to Stefano who is one of the most knowledgeable and amazing person I have ever met. I feel so blessed that our paths have crossed because he was able to transmit the amazing energy that Iceland has.
The car that Stefano drives is nothing short of spectacular and his driving skills are second to none. We were able climb snowy hills, drive through a river and so many other things. During our trip, Stefano was able to fill us with incredible information about the island and I think I was able to lean more from him than any book I could have read.
If you want to experience Iceland and have your expectations exceeded, I highly recommend you check if Stefano is available.
I want to state that everything done on the tour (driving on the beach, in the river, etc..) is perfectly accepted by the Park Rangers; Stefano is very environmentally conscious and would never do anything to damage the environment.

Stefano is amazing guide and a guy. He is italian, but he lived in Iceland for 14 years, so he knows plenty of hidden gems around Iceland. He is easy going guy, very easy to talk to and it felt more like traveling with a friend then with a guide. I recommend him to anyone who is looking to have a unique experience in Iceland!
