I had the great good fortune to have Dan as my driver for the airport trip, for my visit to the Blue Lagoon, and especially for the trip I made to the volcano. He was companionable without being pushy, apreciated silence when there was nothing to say, and showed me places on the "scenic route" that I otherwise would not have even known about, In short, when I come to Iceland again -- and I will! -- I hoe he is still available to drive me around.

This was our second trip to Iceland and previously we used the FlyBus. With Covid, the flybus schedule had me looking elsewhere. VIP Travel was to the rescue with prompt email responses in organizing our transfers and prompt pick up/drop off services while in Iceland. This experience has us rethinking our arrivals and departures in general. Daniel was always early and friendly. The car is really lovely, spacious, and relaxing. Waters waiting for us and smooth trips from KEF to Reykjavik, Reykjavik to the Silica Hotel at the Blue Lagoon, and onward to the airport. Do not hesitate to book with VIP Travel when visiting Iceland.

Two thumbs up, it was smooth sailing and hassle free from start to finish. I canceled and changed my booking twice and they were very accommodating and replied promptly to my emails. I was picked up at the airport exactly at the given time, then we drove to the Blue Lagoon and the driver waited for me two hours at the parking lot, with no extra charge, and I didn't have to bring my luggage, it stayed in the trunk The car was very comfortable, I fell asleep on our way to my hotel in Reykjavik after that very relaxing swim at the lagoon.. When it was time to for me to leave Iceland, I was picked up at my hotel at the time I requested and it was a quiet uneventful drive to the airport. I highly recommend VIP Travel if you want hassle-free transfers. I paid by credit card both times since I don't have cash with me, no problem. Bottled water is provided in the car. They send you a reminder email the day before your scheduled arrival and/or departure, letting you know who your driver will be and their phone number.

Cras looked new and were clean and comfortable, drivers cheery and informative and always arrived about 10 mins before departure time. Worth using if visiting Iceland in winter and don't want to drive in the snow
