I was trying to not get too hyped up for seeing the lights, so that I wouldn't be disappointed if Mother Nature didn't come through, but we lucked out and saw them the first night in Iceland! It really is a phenomenal experience.
Had a great time with the wonderful guide Makrem and the four others who joined. On time, didn't feel rushed and the supplemental audio was fairly well done. The views are gorgeous even if it feels a bit touristy.
I've already written a separate review on Tripadvisor as soon as I returned from Iceland in November 2018 because I was sooo impressed with Baldvin, our tour guide, and also with the trip itself. Baldvin was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. I've been back to Iceland...More

Had a great day with Ian as our guide. The reason I like this better than bus tours is that you can visit more places and getting on and off is easy. Many times Ian would drop us off at a convenient place and go...More
