Great cosy bar just off the main shopping street in Reykjavik but get there for the Happy Jour so you don’t have to pay a fortune on drinks. There is a downstairs area also but no bar but again cosy for about 20-39 people and also has a chair lift to get downstairs for those not so able or after you’ve had one too many!! Happy Hour times are strange but see photo for details

Vedur is just off the Main Street so easily missed but try not to as it’s a great little bar. Has the feel of a front room and very relaxed. Lots of conversation with music in the background rather than music too loud you can’t hear anything. Bar staff are very friendly and seemed to have had no issues with kids going in. Prices are pricey but then it’s a bar in Reykjavik, also had a good selection of drinks and two good cocktail bar tenders making drinks the whole time we were there. Also seemed to be a bar that the locals used and stayed in.

We visited a few times while in Reykjavik. Lovely staff, great wine and a nice way to spend some time.

We had the cocktail Moscow Mule in the outdoor seating area. These were one of those few days you can sit outside in Iceland. Great cocktail and good service
