Interesting sculpture near Harpa so easy to combine a visit to each place on one trip. Site is very exposed so wrap up warm in winter. A little patience is required to get photos without other folk in them but worth the wait. Good views...More

This is a strange feeling, what should be a steel structure dwarfed by the surrounding bay with its backdrop of mountains appears to grow as you approach it. A really engaging piece of sculpture that captures the essence of Iceland and its origins.

A really nice walk along the harbour to see this. It was only a 20 min walk from our hotel but would reccomend the walk anyway if you weren't close by

That´s not true. In December in Reykjavik you have at least 4 hours of light. You can go to the page timeanddate, and check there the sunrises and the sunsets. Hope it help you.

Hi Noa, You can buy the replica in Reykjavík Art Museum, Kjarvalsstaðir, Ásmundarsafn, Gallery Bakarí on Skólavörðustígur and in the flowershop Upplifun in Harpa by the harbour. Kind regards, Ólöf Anna
