Located along the water and walking path, the sculpture is huge and pretty great for a photo op. Harpa is very close so we just stopped on our way there.

Beautiful sculpture that encapsulates so much of Iceland in the structure and setting. Free and easily accessible.

Great art work, a pleasant photo spot and just a short walk to the Harpa. It's within walking distance most attractions.

Iconic sculpture on the waterfront, all the buses stop here. It's well-designed and beautiful, easily evocative of the Viking ships.

Seems a bit strange to be perfectly honest and the plaque nearby doesn’t give that much information but it is what it is.

Popular photo spot but people just take their turn for their photo. Make sure you include the background

Such a unique sculpture in the harbor with a beautiful view (if the weather is nice). Easy to climb on for kids.

A nice photo op and a lovely, modern sculpture. The only issue might be the weather as it is quite windy and often cold and rainy. Dress appropriately and continue on to the Harpa concert hall.

I did't like this sculpture at all, it looks so tretenig, fool of spikes. I did't feel pleasant there.

It is free. Just walk down to the waterfront and there it is. Framed against the water and the mountains beyond it is beautiful.

That´s not true. In December in Reykjavik you have at least 4 hours of light. You can go to the page timeanddate, and check there the sunrises and the sunsets. Hope it help you.

Hi Noa, You can buy the replica in Reykjavík Art Museum, Kjarvalsstaðir, Ásmundarsafn, Gallery Bakarí on Skólavörðustígur and in the flowershop Upplifun in Harpa by the harbour. Kind regards, Ólöf Anna
