Last time I was here during the summer, it was raining and didn't dazzle me; however, this time around, the snow capped mountains and setting sun really made this a stunning viewpoint.

Nice view and a peaceful spot however by no means a highlight of a trip to Reykjavik. Best time for photos at sunrise and night time. Very close (runs parallel to main street) to the city centre.

One of the recommended sights to see in Reykjavik with the mountains in the background. Within walking distance from Reykjavik Residence hotel and near to the Harpa.

Beautiful sculpture on the perfect location. Peaceful scene to the sea. We arrived here by accident.

this sculpture is pretty impressive, it is easy to find on the main see front with great views. doesnt cost anything and usually a few other tourists taking photos, we managed to ask a couple to take our photo and we returned the favour.
