I had a great time at Elf School and learned a lot! Magnús is definitely knowledgeable about elves and has collected stories from thousands of people who have encountered elves and hidden people. His stories, including the tangents, were fascinating. The bread and pancakes (which...More

The Elfschool in Reykjavík is well worth a visit - it’s headmaster, Magnus, is a magnificent story teller and he kept us entertained all afternoon. Even if you don’t believe in elves it’s worth attending. Most Icelandic people do believe and they have many stories...More

Absolutely awesome—amazing magical lore, the teacher knows everything about elves and hidden people and trolls and spirits. And his cream and jam filled pancakes are the best food in the country

I gave it three stars simply because you'll either love it or hate it. We went in expecting elf stories & pancakes (and the best bread in the world). We got lots of elf stories & the mid-class break was definitely very yummy. I'm not...More

Magnus is a most unusual scholar of elves, hidden people, and related topics. The evening we spent was quirky, interesting, entertaining and unforgettable. I highly recommend doing this and keeping a very open mind about what this experience will be.
