You could wander around Reykjavík wondering where to go at night... or you could join Hera on an exciting tour of Reykjavík’s nightlife! She was so welcoming and fun. She shared many entertaining stories about Icelandic culture and answered all of our questions - no matter how ridiculous or repetitive (yes, we drank a lot). We didn’t have to worry about a thing and had the best night! If you’re worried about the cost... drinks are really expensive in Iceland - about $20 a cocktail... and you get 3 cocktails, beers, shots, and some typical Icelandic food. It’s well worth it!…

The bar tour was excellent. The guide, Liam, is very friendly and makes people feel comfortable at each location. I was very impressed with how organized the event was. Highly recommend this as a solo traveler or with friends.

We had a cozy group of nine, and Hera, our guide, did a great job wrangling all of us. She is an incredible talent, always having a nice funny story for each stop, related to the drink or the location. 10/10 will crawl again.

This was a fantastic tour. I originally booked this because I wanted to try to coco puffs drink which I heard was only available if you were with a tour group. I picked this company in particular because we originally had 12 people booking, which was too many for most other companies. We ended up with 9 by the time we got to Iceland. The owner, Liam, was our guide. He was so pleasant and welcoming--it started the night off well. One of the other company members, Samuel, met us at the first bar, and he was great. My friends talked with him for a long while. It was so nice to have locals with us to give us a better feel for everyday life. We stopped at the first bar, the Big Lebowski Bar, for the coco puff drink, which was like a white russian with coco puffs (which I love). They were able to get us a couch for half of our group, and then the other half picked up a table that was clearing out. The second stop was Apotek, which has some of the best cocktails in the city. I don't remember the name of the drink, but it was an award winning cocktail that I think had butterscotch schnapps. It was delicious. Liam and Samuel and had table waiting for us and they even had a game of Never Have I Ever prepared in a pint glass for us to draw slips from. It was SO NICE! Such a good way to kill time!!! The third (last stop) was a bar that I don't remember the name of. It was a second floor bar and possibly only open late at night. We had a good cocktail there (I had two of them) and ended our night. We had plenty of room to sit on couches together because we were there 'early' (it was after midnight.) Overall, it was a great time and I think my entire group had fun. It was nice to get out on the town and have new people to talk to!…

The Reykjavik Bar Tour was exactly what I'd hoped for as a solo traveler – a fun night out with other travelers and locals, visiting cool Reykjavik bars, and sampling Iceland's beer and liquor. I was a little nervous about the group size that night (7), but Liam helped us bond with a fun game – and the alcohol didn't hurt. I left the last club with new friends and good memories. Thank you, Liam!…
