We booked the Golden Circle tour with Blue Lagoon package included in the evening. We were picked up promptly from the front door of our hotel bang on 8:30am as promised in a mini coach, transferred to the main bus and left Reykjavik at 9:00am. Our tour guide Karen was excellent, had lots of interesting stories for us and had a great sense of humour. Tablets were provided with both audio and text guides to learn more about the various places we were travelling through and visiting. During the day, we stopped off at Þingvellir National Park to see where the old Icelandic parliament met in the 900s, the famous Strokkur Geysir to watch the water jet up into the air, and the golden Gullfoss Waterfall which was majestically iced over and surrounded with snow. There were plenty of rest stops and opportunities to eat, drink and use WCs – every one of the visitor centres had vegan options, which was great for me - I highly recommend the soup at Supa at the Geysir Centre where two veg options were available, and my other half enjoyed the carnivore options just as much! Then it was back to Reykjavík where some sightseers left the tour, and those of us left were shuttled to the Blue Lagoon for a magical evening under the snowy sky soaking in hot bubbles while drinking cold bubbles! The Comfort Package and entry was included in the price of the tour – we considered upgrading to Premium but in the end we’re glad we didn’t, extra drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and easily made using your wrist band and settled when you exited. The only extras we didn’t receive were slippers and a robe (which we didn’t feel we needed given we went straight in the water anyway for 2 hours) or an extra face mask, which you could buy with your wrist band anyway. After showering we ate in the snack bar and found a great choice of food and drinks, including a few vegan options and even vegan ice cream. Afterwards, we met the 9:15pm coach back to town, transferred to a mini shuttle bus at the station and were dropped off right back at our hotel front door at 10:30pm. All in all, I cannot praise this tour enough. We paid just under £150 per person all in, which at the point of booking we’d thought was expensive, but in the end it actually represented excellent value for money. Travel to and from the Blue Lagoon plus the basic Comfort Package would have cost not much less – to also visit bucket list attractions like the geyser, park and falls was a great way to spend a day in Iceland!

The big problem was that the booked smart bus did not arrive, and we only made it on time by finding a taxi..early in the morning. Running like mad to make it the rep then shouted at us which did not help. The tablets on the bus allowing various languages is a good idea, but only works if the tour keeps to the program. Ours didn’t so if you had no English at all you would have been in a mess. The bus was full so it was 1 tablet between 2 sharing ear phones, not perfect. The tour itself was very good with some wonderful stops, and for the most part plenty of time, a little longer to climb the waterfalls would have Ben better. It was a big bus with 40 plus guests so all in all once we got to the start it was well organised and good.

Disappointed ! ! ! I booked my family on their winter special package that included the Golden Circle, Northern Lights hunt, and South Coast tours. Each tour included a pick up from my hotel. Of the three only the Golden Circle was delivered. This tour was great and you get to see some Iceland's stunning scenery. Due to poor weather conditions the Northern Lights tour was canceled - understandable and a risk you take visiting in December. The South Coast tour was not delivered due to human error I was told. It seems someone omitted adding my family to this tour and as such no pick up etc - not acceptable from my viewpoint. Rescheduling was not an option as I flying home the next day. Other than an apology and refund no means to remedy the situation was offered e.g. drive us specifically to catch up with the tour bus. I came specifically to Iceland for this tour and non-delivery essentially ruined my holiday. The only reason that my rating is a two is the speed with which my refund was returned.

Set out at 8am in dark, but wasn't expecting to arrive at our first stop, Thingvellir National Park at 8.50am (still dark), being told not to wander to the sights for safety but to go in cafe for a coffee with option of paying extra to see an exhibition of the sight Thingvellir National Park. The guide apologised as the cafe didn't open till 9am, she also promised that the rest of the tour would be in daylight. Now i totally understand the short winter daylight hours, but we returned with a few hours of sun left! Surely it would make more sense to head out at 9am rather than 8am, and after a little research I discovered that other tour operators did exactly that!
There are three stops to the Golden Circle, so it is very disappointing to only explore two of them. I would advise you all to check times of stops with you operator before booking.

This was a fantastic trip to see the National Park, Geysirs & Gullfoss. The weather was kind to us, blue sky and sun which made the scenery even more spectacular. We were provided with tablets to follow the itinerary but our Driver/Guide whose name I could not spell or pronounce but aka 'Ziggy' was far more entertaining and knowledgable to listen to! Thoroughly recommend this Company.

Tour Guide and bus drivers are very friendly and professional which is the Pro. However, the worse part is their tour pick up arrangement as this company use another sub-agent (I believe it is called Smart Bus) to shuttle individual travelers from their pick up points to meet the tour coach at the Terminal, an open area located at the Suburb of the city. On our original tour day, pick up time was 9am at Bus Stop #13 which is right outside the Center Hotel Midgardur Hotel we stayed. We were advised to arrive at the pick up point at 8:30am and in fact we arrived at the hotel lobby and wait right at the main entrance even earlier than that. Ended up we waited till 9:30am and still no one show up to pick us up and we missed the tour. Fortunately, our nice hotel front desk staff helped us to call Reykjavik Sightseeing and able to shift the tour for next day departure. They said the Smart Bus driver could not find us and left. We were very upset on this as we've been waiting half an hour earlier than the pick up time as advised and we are pretty sure that Smart Bus driver (apparently he is not an immediate staff from Reykjavik Sightseeing) did not even try to locate us and left. So for future travelers with this company, please beware of their pick up arrangement as you will never know which company/vehicle/driver/time you are expected at your pick you point.

We have been on a Golden Circle tour and South Coast tour with Reykjavik Sightseeing.
They have been always on time, well organised. We have taken some stars off as during our trip to Black sand beach (South Coast trip) we almost lost our 7 years old daughter. We were super vigilant. However, at one point she sat down to pick something up with her back towards the sea. Then the massive wave came from nowhere and covered her up. Then everyone started running towards her and thankfully she was rescued. We stood well away from the sea but clearly not far enough. We felt very angry as we have discovered since that this is one of the most dangerous beaches and a large number of people have had near misses of being swept into the sea for good. Furthermore, there has been at least 3 deaths that we could find since 2007.
The reason we are angry is that why do the tour operators allow people to go to that beach?????? We understand that the authority wanted to build a fence, but it has not happened yet. Then as responsible tour operators ( all in Island) should stop, absolutely stop people from going onto that beach. As tourists we are very naïve and totally rely on the guides. Therefore, it is absolutely the responsibility of the tour operator to avoid any injuries, accidents, keep people safe. Reykjavik Sightseeing must not allow their tourists on that beach!!!! this trip can be organised better by all of the operators and all the photos can easily be taken from the parking space, where it is safe. I can assure you one death would have been far too many for the UK officials, and this process would have been stopped. Would I go back to Island? Probably not. It has been a week since our return and we are still having panic attacks and severe anxiety now. Please search the info about accidents on a Black sand beach before you decide to go to that evil place.

We chose this company to do the south coast excursion, all stops and landscapes were great, organization as well (itinerary was slightly changed to avoid bad weather on the glacier, which was totally a success) but we got audioguides in Spanish and I think this could be improved. Lots of moments of silence with any info, and when it was something the longest explanation lasted 3 min maximum. I think there's a lot to tell and could be added to make the long distances by bus more bearable.

Excellent tour. Three major sites visited - The Law Rock/Geizers/Gullfoss. All sites were interesting, with Gullfoss being a spectacle to behold. Very windy when we visited and were advised not to take ipads as the wind could blow them out of your hand. I had to really grip my phone to take pictures. At the geizers stop we went into Supa for a bowl of soup and it was delicious and cosier than the canteen. On the way back to Reykjavik we had an impromptu stop at a small horse farm, which I found interesting as I had seen the Fire and Ice programme on the TV, which gave the history of the horses on Iceland. Travel between the sites was not too lengthy, with enough time to sit back and look at the view. We paid extra for the onboard video guide, and was pleased with the content. The guide on the day was also very good.
