Summary: Stag Iceland and our assigned guide Svala planned the perfect bachelor party for 11 guys from New York in their mid-30s. The 3-night trip was the ultimate blend of good food, good partying, and incredible activities you can't find anywhere else. I cannot recommend this company more highly and have provided details below if interested!

To start off, I contacted Stag Iceland via their website a few months before the bachelor party date. I had a rough idea of my group's budget and activity preferences and passed them along via the site's contact form. Almost immediately, I was contacted via email by Svala, a guide at Stag Iceland. She sent very relevant questions and started helping me narrow down my choices right away.

Over the course of a week or two, Svala put together an incredibly detailed itinerary, including three rental apartments that were perfect for our group, private airport transfers, a seamless trip to the Blue Lagoon (yes it's touristy, but I've been there twice and will go back every time I'm in Iceland), a SuperJeep drive where we rented three jeeps and went offroading on glaciers and drove through rivers, snowmobiling across a glacier at 120 kilometers/hour, another lagoon/geothermal bath, a private fishing boat expedition where the staff seasoned and perfectly grilled the many cod we caught while we drank beer that was provided onboard, a pub crawl, a brewery tour, one of the best dinners I've had abroad (Grillmarket), and two nights out at crazy Reykjavik clubs where we were treated like VIPs.

As an added bonus, Svala was totally accessible the entire time we were in Reykjavik. She gave us her mobile number and answered any and all calls/texts right away with a smile and resolution to whatever we needed. She even joined us on some of the activities which was a lot of fun, as she immediately got along with our group. We were sad to say goodbye to her at the end of the trip!

Payments were handled with ease and as I mentioned above, the company and our guide could not have been more responsive. This group of guys is now eagerly waiting for another excuse to go back to Iceland as soon as possible and we will most certainly have Stag Iceland and Svala plan things for us again!

Background: I was referred to Stag Iceland by a buddy who used them to also organize his bachelor party. He only had the best things to say about the trip so I went onto the website and filled out the inquiry form. We were a group of 19 guys from the NYC area. You would think that going to a foreign country with 18 of your friends would be a headache to plan... but it was the complete opposite due to Svala coordinating/planning our unbelievable trip. She made our experience so easy and worry free. During the initial planning phase, we must have had at least 3 (45 minute) phone calls and the email chain was in the hundreds. This just shows how much the small and little details matter to Svala and the entire Stag Iceland Team. We went back and forth and handpicked the perfect itinerary that checked all of our boxes (both financially and from an adventure standpoint). We ended up going with the following which again, I would highly recommend:

Lodging: We stayed in Reykjavik for all 3 nights we were in Iceland. Svala recommended we stay at " Room with A View Apartments". The apartments were exactly what we were looking for and were awesome. They varied in size (some slept 5 others 8) and were really nice and modern. The best part about the apartments was the location. Being right in the heart of Reykjavik was clutch it was really refreshing having everything in walking distance.
Transfers/Guides: We had our own private bus transport us the entire weekend. Our guide Kiddi was amazing! He really fit in so well with our crew and did everything in his power to show us the ultimate Icelandic Stag experience. He made himself accessible to us the entire time we were there and we all consider him a brother now! He really made the trip for us. Also, he recommended Sushi Social for dinner one night and the food was top of the line.
During the Glacier Hike we had another Guide join us... Sigfus. Sigfus was a great guide for the glacier and he made sure everyone felt safe and did everything he could to accommodate the group.

Activities:
Hot Springs Hike- The natural hot springs were like nothing any of us had ever witnessed before. It is about a 2 mile walk spring and on our first day really gave us a taste of what the beautiful country has to offer.
Glacier Hike/Walk- Everyone was amazed by the size of the glacier. Got so many great pictures and really glad that we picked this activity. Was perfect for the amount of energy that we had as a group considering how long the nights are.
White water Rafting (Level 2)- Everyone really had a blast on the white water rafting and loved going into the freezing water. The rapids were calm but anything more would have really tired out the group.
Blue Lagoon- Was a great experience and we were all so impressed with the technology with the bracelets. It is a "must".

Nightlife:
Friday and Saturday Night Stag Iceland set us up at the best night clubs in town. Friday we hit B5 and Saturday Austur. Both a a ton of fun and unique in their own ways. They stay open until 4am so be prepared to party all night!

Overall: The trip was perfect and we would not change one thing. STAG ICELAND is the only way to go! We are all so sad that the trip is over :(.

I organised a stag do for a group of 18 with Stag Iceland and I have to say they were amazing. I have organised a lot of stag parties all over the world and Stag Iceland are easily the best company that I have dealt with. They were super flexible in the planning stages and all really helpful during the event itself. Kolifinna was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us plan the perfect action packed itinerary for us. Bjorn, our guide, really helped make the trip. He was great fun on the transfers and super flexible with our needs. There are two things to take from this. 1, go to Iceland for a stag party and 2, use Stag Iceland to help you organise a seamless and fantastic weekend.

Stag Iceland was perfect helping me organize transportation for a Bachelor Party of 16 guys to and from the airport and a trip to the Blue Lagoon. Responded quickly and gave great advise for our trip. They even gave me options for an Adventure trip, but I unfortunately couldn't convince my group to get away from the bar to go. Would definitely recommend using them again if I return to Iceland.

StagIceland really helped me plan a fun weekend for me and four other dudes. I recommend:

- Quad Mad ATV tour
- Super jeeping
- Blue Lagoon (super relaxing)
- Bar crawl (we all thought it'd be lame but it was super fun to hang out with a local)

Rakel from Stag Iceland did an amazing job of looking after our organisation and made my life super easy as best man. Even with last minute changes, to number of people , or ideas. Even coming to find us after first days driving to bring us some beers.

Ragnar was a total legend showing us around too.

The guys reckon its the best weekend of their lives!

Stag Iceland was AMAZING in the planning and execution of our Stag Party in Iceland. They took their time working with us to plan the perfect itinerary beforehand. Really, trying to accomodate all of our wishes and made great suggestions along the way. They were patient, helpful and very communicative. Once we got to Iceland, we really became thankful we set up our vacation with them. The guide that accompanied us, Ragnar, was AMAZING.. Super cool guy that we really enjoyed hanging out with. He was our guide, DJ, even helped take some great pics. By the end of the trip he had become part of our squad! I could go on and on about Stag Iceland, Kolfinna & Ragnar but I'll spare you all the text. I can't recommend them enough, if you are planning a trip to Iceland you WILL be missing out if you don't plan with them!

Stag Icleand did a great job with out trip. Kolfinna worked with us to plan every aspect of the trip. Much of which was planned at the last minute. Not something I enjoyed going through nor Kolfinna, but she handled the situation amazingly well and got everything taken care of. She was always available and kept in contact with us after the trip to make sure everything went well. Highly recommend them and their services for a great trip.

We were on a bachelor party for my brother with 13 guys. We contacted Stag early on in the planning process and they made everything super easy! We discussed potential activities and an itinerary and once we settled on a budget they put everything together! They had transportation to/from the airport and also to all the activities. We did the ATV rides, skeet shooting, midnight golf, snorkeling and the viking dinner. Everyone in the group had a great time and we HIGHLY recommend STAG!

We were referred to Stag Iceland by a friend who used them. While we found general activities and ideas online, with the help of Stag it made everything easy. They helped us plan things for each day, gave recommendations, did all the leg work, and then built our itinerary all the way down to driving directions from our AirBnB to the activity location. Seriously, made things easy. We did everything from snowmobiling to glacier hike, ice climb to fishing. Definitely recommend using them!
