As we were staying in Keflavik we stumbled across the Giantess in the mountain, when reading the story it is a nice attraction to pop and see for free.

Definitely a place for children...not much to see after you walk into the cave and see the “giant”...see it and walk out...that’s it.

Saw this while having dinner at Duus Cafe restaurant. Took a walk the next day along the water and around the small harbor (fishing boats and whale watch boats) and found the Giantess' lair. It is quirky, cute and harmless but I do not think...More

A small cave by the sea where you can see a giant troll in it's room. It's free and if you are there you might as well go and see it with your children.

Not really a special visit needed but if you are walking the cliff walk it is worth popping into since it is a bit of literary history.

It was closed when we went there but you could still enter the cave. We guessed it would have some children activities when open. Still cute.

What can I say? It's a giant troll in the mountain. It is exactly what you think it is from the pictures. Unsure why it had a traffic cone on its foot tho. I had nothing better to do so I walked along and it's...More

It’s in the bay of Keflavik harbour. Interesting cave, nice to pop in. It has sound animation too. A big troll, a huge bed, a post box and a tree with lots of baby’s dummy. Should have more stories, illustrations, explainations displayed.
