When we arrived it was raining and foggy. Oskar was very friendly and offered us to cancel the trip free of charge because of the weather but we decided to go anyways. We don't regret our decision. The trip was amazing. The mysterious weather just made the experience even greater. We were "lost" in the middle of the nature on... More

Oskar and his colleague are amazing, prepared and so nice. The place is breathtaking. Blue ice, silence, no rush. I never kayaked before and I was a little skeptical. Turned out one of the best experience in my life. And I have travelled a lot! Thanks again guys

I honestly can't say enough positive things about this kayaking trip with Oskar. We've been in Iceland for a week and have snorkeled the Silfra fissure, hiked the Falljokull glacier, boated Jokulsarlon ice lagoon and hands down kayaking has been the best experience. For starters Oskar (and Bobo) is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was born/raised in Hofn and I... More

My guide went out of his way to make this a special and unrushed experience for us. His passion for the place was clear. Knew the history and science which made this a much richer experience than just passing through. Metal spikes provided so we were able to walk on a glacier. Good idea to bring a small camera, cell... There are not many places whereby one can kayak close to a glacier and this is one of those places, at relatively reasonable prices too. While the icebergs at Jokusarlon is more majestic than the glaciers you will see during this kayak, kayaking gives one the autonomy and closer proximity to the icebergs. The expedition also includes parking your kayak... More

Arne was our quide and we had a marvelous time. We arrived at the Skalafjell Questhouse where Icequide has a small shack. We were welcomed by Arne who helped us with our suits and other gear. After a nice 10 minute drive in a van we arrived at the startingpoint where the kayaks were ready for us. We had excellent... More

Great experience booked through extreme iceland. Started with a fun ride in super jeep over the snow to the ice cave (aprox 30 mins). We were on an a morning tour and so the place was quiet, I can imagine later tours would see more human traffic which may take some of the magic away. The cave is really beautiful-they... More

Iceland is a phenomenal place to visit. Oskar gave my wife and I an unforgettable experience. I need to preface this by first saying that Oskar's kayaking calendar didn't start until June 15th and my wife and I were going to be in his area June 8th. Oskar opened his season early to accommodate us. We are glad he did.... More

We were lucky to get to go at the end of the ice cave season. Oskar was our guide and we had a great time loved that the weather cooperated so we could have this amazing experience. The drive to and from the cave was just as fun as the cave itself as you get to do some 4 wheeling... More
