Kayaking on the glacier lagoon was my favorite part of our trip to Iceland! Our guide was wonderful- very knowledgeable and experienced. We enjoyed chatting with him as we paddled. Everyone on our tour was an experienced kayaker so we were able to explore the...More

The silence and peace of the wilderness was like a dream. The sound that the ice made is something to experience. The guides were professional and knowledgeable. We as a family with teenagers had a great time.

Glacier Zodiak boats and Kayaking? (6 Replies)
Just wondering if the Zodiak boat rides at Jokulsarlon would be a similar experience to the Glacier Kayak tour at Heinabergslon. We are travelling in August and have booked the Glacier Jeeps Zodiak tour but then saw the Kayak tour with Iceguide and are trying to determine whether or not to do one or both. Thanks for any advice. Babs
