About Ice Cave In Iceland
We are a small family run business that offers high quality trips to the breathtaking ice caves in Vatnajökull glacier in south east Iceland for the lowest price you can find. The meeting point for the ice cave tour is at the Jökulsárlón (glacier lagoon) Close to the shop I park the car, and it is good to be there 30 min before the trip.

Overview
In this trip you will get to experience one of the most beautiful caves we have seen in the last years called Sapphire. You will also get a chance to see two crevasses located next to the cave in Breiðarmerkurjökull which is an outlet glacier from Vatnajökull glacier the biggest glacier in Europe outside of the Arctic Circle. Your trip will begin at the glacier lagoon parking lot where you will board our super jeep and then we will drive you for approx. 25 minutes through the snowy landscape on a country road only accessible by super jeeps. When we arrive at the „parking lot“ for the ice cave you will be given a helmet and crampons and then we will walk for about 20-30 minutes to the edge of the glacier where the infamous Sapphire ice cave is located. When we get to the ice cave you can take your time to walk around and enjoy the amazing view, take some wonderful photos and make memories you will never forget.

Boggi and team are awesome! We had an extended family group ranging in age from 8 to 68 that set up a tour to visit and hike in an ice cave earlier this year. Summed up in a single word, the whole day was AMAZING! From the planning and prep through the actual day on the tour, Boggi was the ultimate professional and made the entire experience one of the most memorable ones of our trip. We definitely recommend going with Boggi and team as opposed to the larger tour groups, you'll get a much more personalized experience.

The Ice Cave in Iceland tour guide has been a wonderful experience, a maximum of 6 people per time give you the opportunity to enjoy and experience really closely all the beauty of the Glacial. Boggi is fun and care about his tourists. He also know how to beat the crowd and always take you to the glacier when is less tourist than usual. I definitely advise you to experience Ice Cave in Iceland if you will be around.

What an amazing experience. We had a great time from the very start, since getting on Boggi's car. Boggi is very friendly, funny and approachable. We were given a lot of information about Iceland, the glacier and ice caves. We loved being in a small group (there were 4 of us and I understand there can be up to 6) as the cave can get a little crowded. The ice cave itself if beautiful. and very much worth the 25-30 minute hike. Thanks very much Boggi! We will never forget this tour :)

Ice Cave in Iceland received the TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence in 2019. After taking the tour of the ice cave with Boggi (the guide and the company owner) a couple of days ago, I am sure they’ll get another Certificate of Excellence in 2020 and here is why: 1. Boggi is native to this area and he knows the land and its people inside and out. Tours with Boggi is a wonderful excursion not only into the Iceland’s natural wonders, but also into the country’s rich history and traditions. 2. Unlike the case with big tour operators, we are not just reservation numbers for Boggi. He is genuinely interested in his guests and makes sure that every tour is not just a routine, but a true adventure to remember. One more thing: When Boggi tells you to hurry up, slow down, or to stop you better listen! He knows what he is talking about.
