We really loved these pools 15 minutes from Höfn. Entry costs 2000 ISK per person, and can be paid in cash directly to the entrance, or with credit card in the hotel behind the hot tubs. As a hotel guest you get free entrance!
We loved it a lot!

Really wonderful tubs! Very clean facilities with a change room and outdoor showers. We were lucky to be the only ones there and had a wonderful time. The tubs go from very hot to a nice warm temperature. Highly recommend

We loved this spot! Wasn’t too busy when we first arrived but it got packed rather quickly. Stayed for about an hour which was perfect. I think there are about 5-6 tubs. There are changing rooms for both men and women where you can also leave your stuff as well as washrooms and an outdoor shower. Admission fee is approx ten bucks a person ($CAD) which can be paid either cash or card.

I wouldn't call it my favourite hot water bath experience because the experience that these hot tubs offer is nowhere close to what Myvatn hot baths offer!
But I found them way better than the natural hot springs and blue lagoon simply because this area wasn't crowded and the water was clean and sufficient for 3-4 people to lie unattended for hours and hours.

It remains open till night but I left early as I had to find a place to sleep before the weather turns foggy. Anyway, the view of the surrounding hills and glacier is much better during the day time 🥰

Its closed for maintenance! Does not say when it will be open again. Would of been nice for them to have an advance warning there, also got stuck in the deep snow in the car park trying to turn around, just a pre warning..saturday March 7th 2020

The hot tubs are located just off the route 1, so easy to get to. The facilities are basic. Consisting of 5 tubs and a changing area. No fancy extras, but this is reflected in the price, which is good compared to other hot pools. The down side is there are fantastic views from the tubs, but they are blocked by the car park and by the changing room / reception portacabins.

Warm water and clean tubs. Nothing glamorous, but it's definitely calmer than the big famous baths and has a better view! I went around dinnertime in July and it was quiet enough that every group was able to have their own separate tub. The pools are really shallow, you just sit with legs out or crossed and the water comes up to your shoulders.

The views are lovely. The water in the tubs was nice and hot when we went. However, it is hard to rate highly as it consists of 5 quite shabby looking plastic or concrete tubs with heated water. There are no air jets so it is just like a big bath. The changing rooms are prefabs with. No frosting on the windows. There are two outside showers which are reasonable and hot. We were there just under an hour and it was nice to have a hot soak but it is a bit down at heel.

The bathtubes were just filled with normal water and chlorine and only the shower was with geothermal water. The water in the tubes was coldish and cover with flies. The fee (1000 is) is definitely over priced. We felt this was just a tourist trap.

There are 4 hot tubs, filled with geo thermal waters straight out of the ground. Just pay 500 ISKr each, bring a towel and costume or trunks and have a hot bath under the snow capped mountain. You need to shower before getting in, to remove any soap or stuff that would gunk up the hot spot, but once this is done you can just relax in the warm, sometimes hot, water! Free parking right alongside, its about 2km along a gravel track, signposted Hoffell
