We stopped here to see the viliking village. It was small but a nice place to wander around for 10 min. I expected more, the hotel lobby was cute and they had some cabins out back. We did not stay at the hotel. I would be nice if they could expand there Viking experience so it would be worth the... More

I love this place, specially during the Viking Festival early in June, if I am not wrong. During the festival there is a market with Viking and celtic pretty things.

The viking village is in a beautiful location along the harbour. We spent about an hour walking around and exploring the area. Definitely bring your camera.

Nice little town, there's a few bits and pieces to explore and the harbour is beautiful on a sunny day

Superb atmosphere and excellent food with a variety of unusual dishes. I had Minky Whale which was rather like very tender beef steak and delicious. Excellent service.

This site has a interesting atmosphere. The Vicking Village have an authentic architecture of old times. It's amazing how vikings worship totems and symbols.

This Viking themed restaurant serves great food, generous portions and is reasonably priced. They only serve wine by the bottle but you can take the partial bottle with you at the end of your meal. I'm not keen on themed restaurants and there is a lot of kitch in this one, but the food is excellent.

As other reviewers have commented, this place has good food and huge portions and is a tad pricey. There is entertainment though with "Vikings" performing some musical numbers. We were tired and didn't hang around for much of that. Service good also. We had the fish soup and the special which was cod served with potatoes, salad and vegetables. It... More

In the literature you read about the Viking Village restaurant it promises that you will be served by staff dressed as Vikings. Staff were basically dressed in Hessian sacks and wore jeans and trainers, so this was not much of a novelty I have to say. The food was delicious but very over priced. My friend and I had lobster...
