    Tones of fun!!
Absolutely amazing experience, the space is very welcoming, the staff willing to explain and help! Fun 100% guaranteed (and great playlist, too!). Even though it might be best enjoy in group, we decided to try it out as a couple activity and had a great time, we'll definitely be back!!

    A fun axe throwing experience
This was a very fun experience. The four of us already had some familiarity with axe throwing (I compete regularly and my family has all thrown as well) but they can definitely handle all ranges of axe-sperience here (sorry). I even got a few pointers along the way. Helga was a great coach and we got the chance to throw a few trick shots, big axes, double sided axe, and even two axes at once at two targets. Should I get back to Iceland again, I would definitely go here again.

    Axe-citing Family Time
Our family had a fun time testing our axe throwing skills. It was the first time I've ever tried this, and was surprised at how hard it could be to make the axe stick. Elvar was so helpful and gave us a great lesson. We had some bullseye's by the end of the session!

Booked a half an hour with my partner for her birthday not really knowing what to expect and ended up having a fantastic time with our instructor Helga. Rather than just giving you axes and letting you try and fail miserably to hit the target, she was able to discuss our form and technique and really helped us improve, even over a short time.

A well structured private lesson was how I’d describe it, but a lot of fun, and only 5 minutes from my house without having ever known about it.

Fantastic time!!!! We went from Reykjavík (on number 1 bus) it was easy to find, communication and booking was excellent, they provided a map as we didn’t know the area. Our instructor (Gemma?) was so lovely and helped us learn the basics, it was such fun! We learnt how to throw small axes, a long axe and even trick shots (I wasn’t great at this). We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, you can enjoy a coffee and just watch or join in as much as you like! Facilities are spotless. I just wish I had bought a t-shirt but forgot at the end. I felt like we were very well looked after and every effort was made to put us at ease.
If in Reykjavík, it is totally worth it, it’s fun, not too pricey and a lovely experience.

Went with my husband, and both of us had so much fun! We did a training, warm-up, competiton with a small axe, competition with a long axe, laughing and learning something new. The axes are not heavy and fun to throw. We never did it before, and after 5 minutes we felt super comfortable.
The host was great and very helpful. Call before you come. At least 20 min before.

I can not recommend this centre enough! The whole experience was brilliant!! The staff are really friendly, have a good sense of humour and are did a good job at putting us at ease! We walked in on a rainy day and were lucky to get a spot- so booking would have been best! This was safe and so much fun, we threw big and small axes and got to try some trick shots 😃 it’s good value for money and great way to relax and have a laugh!!

Walking into the humbly marked establishment in Hafnarfjörður one is greeted by the smiling faces of the staff. They walk you through a brief safety lecture and show you how to handle the axes before throwing them. After a few practice throws a few games are played before upping the anties with the two-hander. Throwing two axes is also permitted as well as other fun throws. There is passion and love for the sport in this four target axethrowing extravaganza. Visiting Iceland and Hafnarfjörður this is a great deal of fun for couples and groups. Once a week there are practice evenings and they hist tournaments as well. I have enjoyed my time here and i will be back again and again!
