Hof is a cultural building designed for music and other performing arts, as well as top-notch facilities for conferences and meetings, receptions, parties and exhibitions. The building has two larger conference auditoriums and a comprehensive restaurant service. Hof has first-class facilities for events of various kinds and the best available technical equipment. The building was opened in August 2010.

In need of some directions to a remote location nearby, the staff were lovely - really helpful, bringing out maps and suggesting photographs. A nice place for a rest and wander, too. Liked the traffic lights in Akureyri - heart-warming...

This a key modern building in the town and the indformation Center on the ground floor (with toilets below) provided excellent and helpfull service-- a job well done.

This building will catch your eye. Stop for a wonderful view of the harbor. There is a nice restaurant, gift shop and conference center. There is very useful information for tourists.

The Hof Cultural Center is a great looking building on the harbor in Akureyri. Inside there is a wonderful restaurant (reviewed elsewhere), a very good tourist information center and gift shop/book store.

This is a very attractive theatre and conference centre on the edge of the harbour area. There is a useful tourist information centre which was very busy, and a small cafe with WiFi area
