Visited on a very cold afternoon. If you have flip flops, they would be handy between the pools, as ground was freezing. The pools are lovely, hot tubs clearly labelled with temperatures, steam room good. Big flumes too, but not for us! 2 x 25...More

Went for a couple of nights in September after days of hiking. Wonderful complex, extremely clean pools and friendly people. Highly recommend without hesitation.

We visited Akureyri on our recent cruise and spent a couple of relaxing hours at the pool. We enjoyed the lap pool and loved the hot pots. My husband enjoyed the sauna & freezing plunge pool. We highly recommend the complex.

My 20-year old son and I have been hitting municipal pools at every stop on the ring road and this one was the best. The hot pots have jets and the slides were legit! A little crowded but to be expected on a Friday evening...More

The highlight of our trip for our 8 year old, he loved the slides! Just an FYI, if you are traveling to Iceland from the US, research pool “protocol and procedures” before you go. It is not a big deal, but you need to know...More

This is a must when visiting Akureyri. For just 950 Kr you have the full Icelandic spa pool experience without the cost and crowds of Blue Lagoon. We chose a beautiful summer’s day which meant the pools were warm inside and out. At least 4...More
