I joined IceAk’s 7-hour tour from Akureyri Port since their cool 4x4 huge Ford caught my attention the moment I disembarked from my cruise ship!
My guide Ingi was very enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and most of all patient. He would tell us his funny personal stories as he drove through different towns and areas. He drove safely even when it was raining hard and never overtook cars nor sped over the limit. He never rushed us nor did shortcuts and even helped us take our photos! He made sure we were always safe and accompanied us throughout even during small hikes.
For the tour it was really great and all the places we went to had beautiful views! The crater hike was really a great experience, luckily I was wearing hiking shoes so I could go through the rocky paths and slopes. The vehicle could go through any terrain and it was so fun driving on slopes and rivers! It was so stable and a lot of the places we went to could normally reached by others!
When I think of Iceland, I think of Akureyri first before other areas I’ve been to. I was so happy with the whole tour, thank you Ingi for making my trip to Iceland amazing!

Amazing trip to Vacant Valley with Bartek in Super Jeep. Breathtaking views. Iceland at its best with this great driver and his big wheels Jeep. Thrilling (XXL 4x4) drive through rugged undiscovered territory. Magic waterfalls and grand views. Bartek is a super good driver safe and much fun. Had a great time. Will be back :-) 🤩

This was absolutely fantastic! The crew are in touch from the beginning of your booking until you meet them in person. They are very accommodating and very helpful and friendly. Our guide Bartek was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The tour itself is a proper adventure, riding in a massive Jeep; hiking down to the mouth of the waterfalls, seeing the black beaches; everything was just amazing. Exceeded our expectations! Will definitely recommend

It was a fantastic day with our driver and guide Ingi. He told us so much about wonderful Iceland and we had a lot of fun and experiences that day including a fantastic lunch. We can highly recommend Ingi, his colleagues and the tour.

I took this tour as part of a school group. We did a modified version of the Magical Myvatn and it was wonderful from start to finish! It was the best part of our Iceland visit and allowed us to see places we would not have found on our own. Huckney(sp?), our driver and guide, supplied interesting information along the way which was then further supplemented by our main guide, who not only provided additional interesting facts at each stop, but also made sure our visit ran smoothly from beginning to end-and even after! Highly recommend this tour and company!

You will mostly find it's very expensive in Iceland and it can be hard to find the right one. We came via the Norwegian Prima Cruise and we weren't going to pay their excursion prices. Hell No. This company were stood on the docks advertising its the best one out the lot, the name of the Tour is Magical Myvatn, the jeeps are huge. We had the tour guide Hilda she was bloody fantastic and very funny. Lots of different places you visit. I am not going into any detail as I don't want to spoil it. Cost is £150pp. Tour length 5.5 hrs. Go on this tour. It's great and not too much time consuming. The offroading was my favourite bit. Good job Hilda. Kind regards Nick & Liz From England

I went on a Super Jeep Tour with IceAk to Askja in the Icelandic highlands and loved every minute of it! It was as expected a long day from Akureyri, but more than worth it getting to a place, that is off the beaten path since it is not easily accessible in a normal car.
Askja is a stunning place and almost seemed to be out of this world.
It was an extremely informative and fun tour in a small group of only two passengers with our experienced and awesome guide Ingi. He has huge background knowledge, was able to answer every single question and showed us many hidden gems. I can absolutely recommend asking for him as your guide!
The big car was also fun to be in and was a special experience in itself. The tour is absolutely worth the money.
I would go back to Askja - or actually on any tour with IceAk - anytime! And I can 1000% recommend going on a Super Jeep Tour with them when you're in or around Akureyri.
Iceland is beautiful and this tour showed me yet another place to fall in love with.

From start to finish this tour was ACES! Specifically, my guide, Ingi ☺️ A gentlemen through and through, he took extra steps to make sure I felt safe in icy scenarios that challenged me, kept the adventure going & kept me laughing and excited for the next destination. Carefully, choosing which site we should see next based on the daylight, Ingi was thoughtful throughout.
His extensive knowledge on Icelandic history and the terrain was remarkable, to say the least. This tour was scheduled via my tour agent, Charlie The Traveler, making it so that all I had to do was be ready and waiting in the lobby of my hotel. I was picked up right on time and thoroughly enjoyed the Icelandic landscape and jaw-dropping views of calderas, thermal baths, waterfalls, volcanic rock piles and so much more!
