We where a party of 4 from the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship and all enjoyed this tour so much. The waterfall , the turf house and the Christmas house where all wonderful. The guide and driver spoke fantastic English and could both answer all our questions. They made the tour fun as well as interesting. I would 101% recommend this company and will use them again On my next tour to Akureyri Thank you

This was a surprise trip for my husband as he is a "throner". Christian collected us from our cruise ship, just the 2 of us in a comfortable Toyota land cruiser. Christian was informative and totally relaxed and chilled. We enjoy taking photographs and Christian gave us plenty of time to take photos. We saw many sights on this trip and at some spots he showed us the relevant GoT clip. A great day which finished relaxing in the Nature Baths. Thanks

This was a really excellent trip made especially memorable by our super knowledgeable guide Lilja. We saw so many different sights in one day and Lilja kept us entertained with a combination of interesting local facts, history and even a tale about trolls! Lilja really went the extra mile for us and she is definitely a gold star tour guide! Highly recommended.

It was a great choice to book our port tour with this company. Lilja was our guide for the day and we truly enjoyed and appreciated her knowledge of the area, her story-telling and sense of humor. She was waiting for us with a our name on a sign as we got off the ship. We were the only couple who made reservations for this tour and they were still willing to fulfill the tour for us. Fortunately, another couple from Australia asked if they could join us! So, off we went with the four of us for the 5 hour tour. Our first stop was at Lauf'as which was an original turf-clad timber farm house of wealthy vicarage in the 1800's. From here we traveled through beautiful countryside to Godafoss waterfall area. We finished the day with stops at Kaffi Ku, a coffee and cafe shop above a working dairy cow barn and then the Christmas House. Thank you Traveling Viking and Lilja for such a fun and interesting day!

Unfortunately our Game of Thrones Tour (which is far from being cheap) started with a no-show by the travel company at the designated time. Our hotel called them and were advised that they would pick up at 10 and not 9 am which was a poor start. Our guide did apologise profusely when they picked us up and she proved to be a friendly and knowledgeable companion on our trip. The vehicle was quite cramped for a driver and four tourists for the money charged. On a more positive note the tour itself was very enjoyable with some wonderful sights to see both connected with the Game of Thrones series and also generally. The Myvatn Nature Baths were great as were the mud pools and geothermal areas. At the end my wife left gloves in the car and our guide found them and came back to our hotel to return them. A mixed experienceall in all.
