Nice for a walk / picnic

This is very well maintained gardened - and you can really enjoy the flora and fauna here. The place has a small greenhouse as well. Very Scandinavian.

Most of it is free to view but there is a small greenhouse that you have to buy a ticket for. If it's cold outside then the greenhouse is a really nice place to visit.

Garden is locating in Ruissalo what is good option if you like to see Finnish nature. There are in the garden free outdoor area, good for example for walking. For greenhouses you have to pay, but it's worth of that if you like to see good selection of international vegetation.

We recently discovered this place and we are in love with it. It´s really nice and perfect for a nice picnic or just for a long, relaxing walk. It´s also interesting for children, because they have there the chance to see and touch all kind of different plants. The colours, air and surroundings are wonderful. Love it!

A different place to see in Turku, but on a sunny day I'd rather recommend you to walk around in Ruissalo's beautiful nature rather than stop by in here!

There are some amazing plants there, many of which you may never have seen before. Also, the people working there seem quite friendly. Try to go on a sunny day. I cqnt imagine going when its raining.

I found the botanical garden by accident when I was out exploring Ruissalo with my bike. I had pretty low expectations for the whole thing, but it turned out I was wrong. Although the greenhouse wasn't open when I visited I still found lots to see. There are many different landscapes in this garden so it's very hard to grow... More

We had a great walk with our kids in a nice sunny day. In the outside garden there can be found a great selection of Nordic plants and flowers and some nice layouts of the current season. A few narrow paths with stairs were exiting for the kids. At this time we enjoyed only for the outside garden because of... More
