No matter if you are a knight or young maid, represent the nobility or the peasantry, it is time for your to dive into the Middle Ages! Turku Medieval Market at the end on June offers Medieval amusements for the whole family. The tables will groan with delicacies, the fierceful knights will show their strength and the handicraftsmen will show their skills at the Medieval Market. The event is one of the biggest in Finland.

Really nice event, maybe the best time to go to Turku! Everybody wearing medieval suits and you can't believe how real it look! There are some shows and little concerts taking place, at some point you forget that you are 21. century!

This medieval market in old historical city of Turku is phenomenal way to experience how it might be living under the authority of church and have a marketplace as a second living room with magicians and fortune-tellers. Everything is so authentically staged that you might...More

Happens every year and there is a lot to see. A market place near Turku Cathedral is full of actors that are dressed and that are acting like they were from Medieval time. There is also a lot of crafts you can buy.

Medieval market didn't give that much for me. There's nothing really that wrong in there but wasn't my thing. Lot's of crowd and quite frankly the "medieval" stuff there is quite exppensive i think. Allthough some of them are crafted right there. But hey, it's...More

Turku Medieval Market has become my favourite event of the year in Turku. You don't have to DO anything: just take a walk and enjoy the atmosphere. I like how it sounds, tastes, smells and looks like.
