This park was located close to my hostel. It was lovely to walk around. Had a nice pond, and also some chickens! Loads of people used the park, it was always busy. It has public toilets and also place to by icecream.

I visited during the first week of good weather after winter. The park was all of people: sunbathing; chatting with friends; bikes, dogs. Large pond with waterfowl. Hilly or flat for sitting on the grass; a few benches. Activity section for children. Nice city park.

The park is located next to the Tampere-talo concert hall in Tulli, five minutes walk from the railway station. Domestic ducks were introduced to the pond in the 1930's. In the summer there are also many other species of birds living in cages by the...More

Just close by the new Tampere Hall this park offers a nice walk through the greens, heading towards an old “fine” city area, Tammela, which is atmospheric and genuine 60’ s. They have a pond with water lilies and a fountain, and this park have...More

The Park Sorsapuisto (Duck Park) is just next to the brand new Moomin Museum in the Tampere-talo (Tampere Hall). We visited this park around 7:15pm on a sunny evening in end August. It was cool and very quiet, so it’s nice to have a relaxing...More

This is a nice park to have lunch or just a wander. There are some lovely statues and there is a little zoo of chickens.

This is a very nice peaceful park next to Tampere Hall. There is an outdoor exercise area, basketball court/football pitch (not full size!), play area for smaller children, aviaries with fancy poultry, a very nice lake, and lots of green space with beautiful trees.

It is a nice little park, where in the summer you can buy coffee & ice cream, sunbathe, sit down and watch the ducks and other birds (just don't feed them). Occasionally, there are events too. Beautiful in the autumn too.

The park itself is absolutely nothing special. What is special here is the atmosphere during warm summer days. It's the living room of the city, always packed with people when the weather allows. A lot of university students seeing how its right next to the...More
