You can see the whole of Tampere from the tower of Pyynikki. Also excitement and terror available, should you be afraid of ancient squeaky and rusty elevators. The tower is old and it shows, but the traditional Finnish pastry called 'munkki' is fresh and tasty....More

Have a really tasty doughnut and do some exercise by climbing the stairs up to one of the city's most fascinating view points!

Really lovely view of the town, and nice to see it from above. It’s 2 euros to climb to the top of the tower. The staff weren’t very friendly, but the cafe is great, and it’s nice to experience.

Small idyllic place just next to city center. Small hiking (up hill) from end stop of bus #2 end stop. Part of National Park, nice small cafe with famous donuts.

This was a great TripAdvisor recommendation. View spectacular- donuts delish- what more could you want? Great spot to orientate yourself to the area :)

This was my favourite thing about Tampere. The views from the tower were amazing. I wanted to spend all day up there! It was only 2 euro. I also had a donut as it was recommended in multiple reviews, and I also highly recommend it....More

The park itself is great to walk round, and the views from the tower are panoramic, and for only 2 Euros.

The woodland and trails are just lovely in this whole area. The views from the top of the observation tower are gorgeous, full 360. And the doughnuts unlike any doughnut I’ve had. Lovely experience all round.

This was a surprise visit on a recent work trip! We really enjoyed the amazing views across Tampere and surrounding areas. We ate in the Lounas lounge at the top which was amazing as it moved really slowly to take in the 360 degree view....More

We hiked into the park, and to the tower as part of the day's activity. The small cafe downstairs has the special donuts where you are to attempt eating it without wiping your mouth or licking your lips. Impossible. View from the tower is stunning....More
