We went on a damp day, mostly with the aim of going up the veiwing tower as my family are too old for Angry Bird land etc; we went on the rapids ride, which was fun and visited the Sara Hilden art gallery restaurant for coffee and cake. The early afternoon was quiet, but the park got busier about 4pm.

This is the worst place with no ethics or decency whatsover. The way they handled the removal of the dolphins is a disgrace. Shame on you Särkänniemi. Not much of an amusement park, either. I would take my money somewhere else.

Convenient cape and next to Näsijärvi (Näsi lake) location with good parking space next to the entrance. Enough activities for children in all age groups. Reasonable price level in general. Several fast food and snack bars to have a break during the day. Open only during summer months. In the middle of the adventure park is Näsinneula tower with cafe... More

If you like speed and amusement and have no fear - this is for you. Try for example Tornado or Trombi or if you dare X-ride of High Voltage. All the small visitors will find attractions for themselves from The Angry Birds land. One with kids should definitely visit the Doghill, where kids may also see some domestic animals ja... More

I think the biggest 'plus' to this amusement park is that you are allowed to go in and wander around even if you do not go on the rides. You obviously have to pay for the rides - you get a wristband and different levels give you access to different areas. The full one is quite expensive - 41 euros... More

Just nice area to walk around. It's free if you don't like to try any machines. They seem very dangerous.

Good rides for the hole family. Many rides even for the smallest kids. Friendly staff at the rides. Free entrance so parents don't need to pay anything if they don't want to go to rides. Koiramäki, the animal park with Finnish fairytail theme, is really nice. Observation tower "Näsinneula" has a nice restaurant on top, but it's also nice to... More

You can't go wrong with Särkänniemi. Clearly one of the best amusement parks in Finland. A whole day of fun for the family.

We went on a warm July day with 3 children, ages 3.5, 6 and 8.5. It was of course busy but I've seen much longer lines at similar parks elsewhere. The lines for the children's rides were very short - probably because there is an abundance of rides and attractions aimed at this age. Most of the rides are in... More
