We are a family of five with three children age 8, 7 & 4. We booked a custom made 6 day tour with Scandi Travel and our agent was Aleski.
We had an amazing time in Finland and all aspects of our trip were takien care of by Aleski, who was always very helful and informative.
Our favourite part of the trip was the magical stay we had at Ranua.

Our five day trip to Finland and Estonia was very well organised and made for a very stress free time to enjoy the sightseeing tours and take in the amazing scenery. The hotel accommodation was excellent and the overnight ferry also added to our wonderful holiday adventure. No details were overlooked and a daily message from Antero, our tour manager was a beautiful touch to make us feel we were in good hands. I highly recommend Scandi Travel.

Hello future travelers
We have just done the 8 Day Northern Europe Tour, Tallinn, Turku and Finish Lapland with Scandi Travel. If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would, Scandi Travel were amazing from start to finish. I found them through a Google search, we are in Ireland so it was a bit daunting and scary to book incase it was a scam but I can 100% say they are definitely a legit business, from the minute i booked with them I was put at ease straight away, their communication was excellent. When we started our holiday we were assigned Serge who was our personal assistant, he guided us through the week through text messages and was there for us if we had any problems or questions, we got to meet him in person in Helsinki and he couldn't do enough to make us enjoy our holiday. All the guides we met along the way were exceptional at their jobs and shared their knowledge and love of their countries with us. We got to see and do so much it truly was a holiday of a lifetime. All hotels and accommodation was perfectly picked out for us, lovely hotels. My best advice to anyone thinking of booking with Scandi Travel is........don't hesitate just book it

Our tour is Winter 8 days Lapland holiday… Among them, we spent 2 nights in Kakslauttanen arctic resort, it is a very terrible experience. Travel agency arrange us to took a long distance bus and stop at Highway, hotel didn’t pick up us so we have to carry all our suitcases working for five minutes to the reception, under -2°C Freeze dark night !
When we arrived, we saw the reception closed, we are terrified. no one there! And we use international telephone to call hotel to pick us up , wait about 30 minutes, please use your imagination how terrified we are!
But, Resort manager treat us very good, she understands that we are terrified, so upgraded us to the glass Igloo.

Hello Asheley,
We are so sorry that the hotel reception was closed when you arrived. Unfortunately they closed the Eastern village reception without prior notice and did not inform us about that.
When you called us, we immediately contacted the managers of the resort and asked them to pick you up.
Besides that, we asked them to make an upgrade for you, since it was their fault - to forget about their guests.
For us, this is a good lesson to keep this resort under a special control.

Scandic Travel was very efficient and the guides were great. Kudos to Serge for helping me navigate a new experience and keeping track of the “red elephant “, my large suitcase. For sure I’ll use Scandic Travel again if I make another trip to Finland!

Everything ran smoothly from the start. Made our way from helsinki to tallinn without any issues or need to worry about anything. On arrival we met our superb tour guide Helen. She was a fountain of knowledge and was easy to chat to between the sites, which there were no end to. Kept us both highly interested throughout the walking tour and gave us excellent information and tips for after the tour ended on what to see and do in our free time. All round excellent trip.
And a note to Helen, coming to the end of our trip Tallinn is still our favourite we've visited. Most of which was down to the excellent experience and guidance we got from you.... Although the "doves" have some serious competition with the lions here in Stockholm

My wife and I took the 72-hour trip to St Petersburg. The tour itself was excellent, hitting as many of the attractions as practicable given the time available. The guide was outstanding and very knowledgeable. She definitely made the visit worthwhile. The only caveat for other travelers is to be prepared for a fair degree of chaos on trying to board and disembark the ferry. This by far was the most frustrating part of the trip. Otherwise, well worth the travel.

My 72yr old Mother and I booked with Scandi in 2018 for a tour but had to cancel at the last minute. We then re-booked with Scandi again in 2019 for our tour in December. Both times from the booking process, the payment process, all communication (Aleksi was amazing) and the receiving of travel documents was exceptional from start to finish - can not fault this company at all. All our questions were answered promptly and nothing seemed too difficult for Scandi to organise. Our tour itself was amazing and extremely well organised, from transfers to tours, meeting points, all instructions were clear and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Have been so very impressed by Scandi that I can not recommend them more highly.

Both times from the booking process, the payment process, all communication and the receiving of travel documents was exceptional from start to finish - can not fault this company at all. All our questions were answered promptly and nothing seemed too difficult for Scandi to organise. Our tour itself was amazing and extremely well organised, from transfers to tours, meeting points, all instructions were clear and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Our tour covered everything we wanted to do in Finland - we got to experience the Santa Claus Express Train, Santa Claus Village, Reindeer Farms, Husky rides, ride snow mobiles, stay in glass igloos and had some fantastic meals. We missed out on the Northern Lights, but that just means we have to go back! Both hotels arranged by Scandi were excellent and centrally located. Our day trip to Tallinn was excellent and there was no stress at all. Have been so very impressed by Scandi and the Winter Fairy Tale 6 day tour that I can not recommend it more highly.

Excellent day trip, picked up at the ferry terminal and driven off to see the various sights of St Petersburg. We did spend more time than we wanted in the Heritage museum though as we have no interest in art.
I wouldn't recommend paying for the buffet dinner as the queues to get into the dining room were long and the same in the dining hall so no a pleasant dinner. Best going to one of the restaurants for table service and much cheaper too. Worth upgrading to the superior breakfast as the dining area is much smaller and pleasant.
