If you want to see Finnish old architecture, go to Rauma. It's a small city and you can explore it in a weekend. You can easily walk in the streets and visit the shops as they are near by. Definitely a majestic place.

There are plenty of 'old towns' on the Bothnian Coast with the same 'quaint' painted wooden houses, still being lived in and some prettier - for example, parts of the Jakobstad.

Beautiful place when snow has fallen upon the town and Christmas lights are on! In summer time, it is very nice to walk late on the streets and explore, when it's warm.
