There is really no reason to stop at this place behind the church . It is just a rock marker of where the church used to be and no reason they know for why the people put it here.

The Ruins of the Church of the Holy Trinity are just next to the Old Rauma. The park is very nice but there is not much to see in the ruins. There are some interesting looking crosses and tomb stones in the area.

The Church of the Holy Trinity (Pyhän kolminaisuuden kirkko) was built of stones in the 14th century. It burned in May 1640. Now only ruins are left. However, this is an interesting example of local culture and history. Even our teens loved to see it.
