Old fashioned marketplace

Kauppahalli was renovated a few years back, but still has the old time feeling. Nice place to pop in for a coffee or shopping.

This is located at the shopping street so we popped in, they have a bakery, butchery etc and a lot of cafes inside. A good place to try out local food with very cheap and affordable prices.

This market hall of Pori is not very good anymore. There's only one fishmarket, very few locals selling products...There's anymore the smell of my childhood which I remember when I used to visit there with my dad...so sad.

With old traditional marketing Hall Pori is like the other Small towns in Europe. There you can stop by having cup of coffee or a Tea. You can eat lunch or make food shopping instead of the Market place. It is renoviert couple years ago.

I love market halls, and the one in Pori was especially cute. Rather small but very cosy, located right in the middle of the city!

Market halls are always worth for visits, so please do not miss this one while you are in Pori! Enjoy a cup of coffee or/and buy some organic fruits, vegetables and berries or/and buy bread from "Ullan Paakari" or/and have lunch at Maku. Market Hall is renovated few years ago but it still has it's character and atmosphere.

You can get fresh Ullan Parkari bread, candy, lunch, organic food, gluten-free bread and pastrys and also normal cakes and pastrys. Good place. I usually get fresh Ullan Pakari bread there!

The markethall in Pori was recently renovated with style and taste. It houses a balanced selection of both shops and food stalls. You can find, for example, some of the best bread in the whole of Finland, a good fishmongers and a charming lunch cafeteria. There's an extensive organic food shop and a bakery specialised in gluten-free products. You can... More
