Situated just outside Pori; Yyteri beach is a long, clean and beautiful beach with lots of amenities. There are football goalposts and volleyball nets for those who wish to play sports. There is a water slide and a shop which sells snacks and beers. There is also a nudist part to the beach for those who like to strip down.... More

This is a really nice beach with a long sandy shoreline. The water is quite shallow so very good for kids. The water was a bit cold, but I got used to it quickly. We visited on Saturday towards the end of August and it wasn't crowded at all. There were a couple restaurants. We ate at the Terrace one... More

Excellent day trip to the beach or if you like you can stay overnight at the camping ground close-by. Enough services available but still a very natural feel. Nice walking on the sand dunes.

Soft sand, sea and dunes. Of course there is also some kiosks and bars where you can buy beverages, ice cream and some food. Camping area looked quite crowded, but I didn't visited there, we were just swimming and laying on the beach. For longer staying there is also cottages for rent and one hotel, but distance from Pori is... More

Yyteri is great place. Kilometers long Sand Beach, Surfing Center, restaurant. You need to walk some tens of meters to get to the depth of sea that you can swim.

What a lovely spot. Well worth a visit. There are a couple of bars on the shore line, lovely for an evening drink. Sea was shallow and bathing safe. It windy on our visit but great for the surf kitters. The beach is backed by sand dunes and pine trees, all add to the charm.

4 of us went to the beach, 3 to sunbathe and me to bird watch in the nature reserve. The beach was well maintained and not ruined by jet skis , blaring music etc. Families respecting each other and thoroughly enjoying the 25C temperatures. My wife went for 3 swims in the Baltic and felt safe and secure. My walk... More

After living in Finland for many years around the sea, I was kind of sad not to find a good/real beach. Well, I can definitely say that this one made me happy! It is not like a super fancy beach, but it has most of the elements. Also, it is very good for families with children. The water is quite... More

We called at Pori on a cruise, Yteri beach was very close to the commercial port. The beach is very popular with Finnish people, there's a hotel set in the pinewoods, the beach is backed by extensive sand dunes and pine forest. The water is quite shallow and warm, great for swimming. There's an interesting restaurant on the beach with... More
