Booked on the “cruise” in order to get visa free access to St Petersburg. Managed to get cheap breakfast included and we had apparently booked incorrectly on their website. Not sure how we were meant to book correctly as it’s confusing and didn’t have the...More

Our expectations for the Princess Anastasia were low as we had read the reviews in advance. We wanted the visa-free entry into St. Petersburg. The rooms were adequate, the shower was excellent and the beds were comfortable. We had a quiet ride to St. P....More

We booked the crossing from Helsinki to St Petersburg in order to get the visa-free stay. Reading the comments below some people were not happy with the experience. We can understand some of this: for instance, the (Russian?) security personnel provided a not very friendly...More

When you check in at the port, ask not to be assigned ferry rooms and cabins on deck 4 of Princess Anatassia. We stayed in room 4800, over night Helsinki to St. Petersburg, the ferry engine vibrating noise was so loud on deck 4 that...More

I booked it expressly to have access to St Petersburg without a Visa. The ship was better than I expected considering the reasonable price. I was not really looking for "cruise ship" activities, just a floating hotel room. It was clean and comfortable.

The ship is nice and stuff is friendly but the timetable is horrible: there are only a couple of hours to visit Tallinn and Stockholm. The disembarking takes literally 2 hours! Add to it the long lines at the board control and you’ll see that...More

The ship is old but functional. The on board food is expensive and there is minimal access to tables and chairs if you aren't paying to sit in a restaurant. On our way back, our cabin's washroom had a foul odour. Debarking the ship in...More

We arrived about 40 minutes before for the departure. The process was very slow. However, it also depends on which class and floor you belong to. Passengers who travel with children or disability have the priority as well.
