We really enjoyed our tour with Riku! He showed and told us about Helsinki lifestyle, not the major touristic spots. Just the way we liked it! Great way to see the City and places you wouldn't normally see on The hop on hop off busses. Really comfortable bikes to ride. 10/10

An excellent tour. The bikes are in very good condition and the helmets clean and comfortable. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. A true off the beaten path kind of experience. I would definitely recommend this to everybody.

We took about two hour bike tour in Helsinki hosted by Riku. Riku has vast knowledge about history of Helsinki and he is an excellent host. Our group enjoyed variety of different architecture and life on general around different parts of Helsinki.

Three of us did a tour with Heltours with Riku as our guide in the summer of 2019. It was fantastic. We were on a Nordic cruise so we only had one day in most every city. We have always had good luck booking local tour companies and skipping the cruise ship options. This was surely no exception. Riku was very communicative leading up to the trip answering questions while still looking to keep some of the tour a welcome surprise. He adjusted the start time to work with our port schedule. The Hotel Fabian is a nice spot to start and Riku was waiting with the bikes. Typically he takes groups on Jopo bicycles but he was more than willing to switch to fat tire bikes when we showed interest in trying those out. Great fun. Riku was super conversational and soon seemed like an old friend. The tour is mostly around the outside of the city. He will basically take you wherever you show interest but has a great itinerary if you just let him do his thing. We got to avoid a lot of the bustle of the city center and still see a lot. Spots of nature, Finnish design/architecture, art, and culture. Also had some fantastic fruit that Riku bought as we walked through a local outdoor market. Great mix of site-seeing, exercise, and education with a nice picturesque break overlooking the water and a good Finnish IPA. I also left with some good Finnish metal recommendations from Riku : ) Highly recommended tour (my 16 year old had a great time as well). You will still have some time to hit the city center by foot after the tour on your own. I’ll also mention that when we finished, another Heltours group was coming back that were all older priests and nuns and they also clearly had a great outing. So Heltours looks to be a great option for any group. Hope to get back and spend an extended time in Helsinki.…
