Gorgeous shop!

Expensive clothes but really lovely designs and fabrics. Also do crockery and accessories. Worth a purchase as a memento from Finland!

One of a number of official Marimekko shops. Still very expensive but who knows, you might get lucky and hit a sale. We did!

I have loved Marimekko since 1965. The first "art" I ever bought was a piece of the Toucans fabric stretched out like a canvas. The outlet did not disappoint although like most outlets there is not a full range of clothing sizes. The average discount is 30% but if you spend at least €40, you can get the VAT back... More

This factory shop is in industrial area so there are no other interesting things to experience. Easy access by car or metro. Good service but the pkace can get busy at times. I would have scored higher I was more interested in what Marimekko manufacturers and sells.

The picture provided on TA is not from the Factory Outlet Store. The store is located in eastern Helsinki (metro stop Herttoniemi, some 500 metres away). The prices are bit lower than those in the flagship store in the centre of Helsinki and there are seconds and fabric remnants, too. If you see Japanese walking in this part of Helsinki... More

The design pride of the country! Marimekko has always been something special in this country. They make clothes for women, men, and children, bags, curtains... you name it! Bright colors and nice designs. The prices are not kind though. Japanese love this place :-)

A cousin drove me out to this outlet for Marimekko and it was completely worth the trip. The outlet has many good deals and offers, particularly compared with flagship stores in more tourist-oriented areas. Best value were the fabric remnants with large pieces (perfect for small projects or just to hang on a wall) - 25 Euros/kilo! I brought home... More

Every time we come to Helsinki my wife drags me on to the metro for the short ride to Herttoniemi. From there it's a short walk (just follow the steady trail of Japanese ladies laden down with Marimekko produce). I think it's also their head office and they let you use their staff canteen - lovely idea! On the shopping... More

There are few designers at this price point who have maintained the quality and creativity of Marimekko. The outlet shop, a short transit ride from the center of Helsinki, is a dream come true for Marimekko lovers (think clothes, outerwear, scarves, table top accessories, fabrics. Spacious area for shopping plus friendly and helpful staff; adjacent option for light dining on... More

This address is Marimekko's factory sails. There is quite often special offers. Easy to reach by metro and short walking. Here is often second quality offers, where can be difficult to see what is wrong.
