The have a lot of amazing scenes done. You get also a good overview of the nature of Finnland. There is a audio guide available. Take it. Not all the information are written in English!

This is housed in a historic building that deserves more of it´s history told. However, it is a very interesting museum laid out over three floors, the fourth floor does tell some about the building. In the lobby is the first of many sights, an elephant. Skeletons of various animals are on show, moving up you will find lions, tigers,... More

We visited the museum again Luomus. It was already the third time. Public transport from the trams, and we will use every time I buy a day ticket. Museum of Natural History is located about 1km from the train station. Helsinki Christmas Street Fair and Christmas are wonderful. The child went carousel, which was free. People who are there to... The exhibitions are in three different stories, displayed very nicely. A lot of families with small children. You can learn about the way the earth evolved, as well as animals and their evolution. The exhibition is very interactive, so the children shouldn't get too bored.

We went here in search of something to do on a very rainy day. We were pleasant,y surprised. From the outside the building seems small but when you go inside there are 3 floora of exhibitions with is SO much to see and do. My daughter had a great time and asked to go back

I always try and get to a natural history museum when I'm in a new country. Helsinki's was really cool with some incredibly interesting exhibits. There was the usual stuff, but then the bone rooms, really cool prehistoric exhibits, local/Finnish wildlife, and of course the mammoths. The only thing I was disappointed with was that you still had to pay... More

Quite expensive to get in considering what was inside... I probably wouldn't return again. You might enjoy it if you're REALLY into natural history, however!
