Located in the middle of Helsinki. If you have extra time this is one interesting place to visit. Specially for the children.

It was a rainy, cool day so we decided to check out this Museum. It was an amazing museum. The only drawback as that most info was in Finnish/Swedish with minimal English on most of the placards. Other than that, well worth the price.

Animals, birds, fish, plants, minerals. Finland, world & history of life. Impressive whale and dinosaurs skeletons. Huge amethyst rocks. A few exhibits invite you to touch them. Kids really liked it.
